as far the highland tavern goes, this was our first time there. we don’t make it up to the highlands area of town too often, and i do believe that it’s a rather new restaurant and bar. we arrived just past seven, and immediately a member of the staff aske

hesitant. i'm hesitant to even write a review because i want this place all to myself, but on the other hand these guys deserve greatness. i just hope that the masses won't crowd us out of getting a table. the place is kinda small. not too small but kinda. the food is a frickin mazing. the only thing i ever had there that i was like "meh" was the franks red hot wings. i let them know and they brought out the other flavors to try which were incredible. turns out the weak link was the franks hot sauce. whoever is putting together their food knows good food. also the beer selection is on point.

beer - deep fried tater tots - chile cheese fries - bacon cheese burger with an egg on top - need i say more!!! i’m sure they had things on the menu for healthy folks too, but my version of healthy the day i ate here was ‘fill me up’. mission accomplished.

i love the pork rinds...a must if you go. i ordered the el guapo burger and upgraded to tots. i thought the burger was really good. the tots were good but i dont think they were worth the extra $1.75 upgrade to get them. they only give you 6. the atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. a little pricey though after all the additions to the burgers and if you upgrade to tots. but well worth it.

fun, family friendly and great food! the tavern tots are as advertised. i got the bombshell sandwich, and though i thought it would be bigger, it was delicious. wife had spinach salad, and it was solid also. kids had a burger and a grilled cheese...both winners. we'll look for another excuse to come back.

the tots were amazing. i watch triple d and will try the local places. this one was not a disappointment. i had the rueben and loved it, but normally am let down when i order them. there may have been a bloody mary or two in the mix as well. great service, cute location and excellent food. as a side note, i tend to be very picky.

i saw this place on the food network and the tater tots were called the best. since i'm visiting denver this week, why not? they are to die for!!!! sooooo delicious!!!

pretty good. the reuben was pretty good but the grilled cheese sandwiches are pretty bland! the tots were very good as portrayed on ddd next time i'll try the pork rinds!!! parking for this place is horrible and why they have a ping pong table and pool table in the place is ridiculous the place is very small to begin with!,, overall it's a good place and i would probably do a return trip one day !!!!!

great!!!!!. my husband and i went out for date night on a saturday. we had been looking forward to trying some of the restaurants from diners, driveins, and dives. this one was first on the list and it did not disappoint! there was a line for tables so we sat at the bar. the bartenders were so friendly and quick! the food was to die for and honestly the bill was a lot less than i expected to pay for such a great experience. i would recommend this place to everyone i know! loved it!!!

the greatest. this place is out of this world. the owners are there seeing to your every need. the atmosphere will blow your mind. the food prepared by chef jeremy is the best. great place to go with friends. been there many times. you'll love it!!!!!
