hi-lo's 15th street cafe

fun groovy place every time i go in. help yourself to coffee is great. this is like visiting a friends house... a friend who is a good cook. from start to end this is a special place. i also liked the old grade school lunch boxes they bring around at the end of the meal. fun!

hands down the clutchest eatery in bremerton. from the atmosphere to the food, this place is amazing! the breakfast burrito loaded up with bacon and sausage is my fave. the ginger snap muffins are quite scrumptious, too.

i always come here after a night of drinking. perfect cure for a hangover, they make their eggs perfect. there's a great menu selection and i love the atmosphere!

stopped by for breakfast after hearing great things and was disappointed. two things hi-lo's lacks is flavor and the proper amount of seating for patrons. we stood there waiting 40 mins for a table packed in the tiny restaurant like sardines with 4 other parties waiting to be seated only to be elbowed out of the way by the snarky wait staff every 30 seconds. on top of the ridiculous wait we had to reach over people attempting to eat in order to get coffee cups. when we finally did get a table there were people hovering over us the entire time. i'm not sure why they even have waitresses in the first place since ours told us that if we wanted a coffee refill we knew where it was and could get it ourselves. the food was bland at best. my husband ordered moon biscuits and gravy but it was horrible. the one flavor in the entire dish was the odd sweetness in the gravy. i ordered french toast but have had better at ihop and the potatoes were hit and miss with each bite changing between over and undercooked. the whole meal was $20 with a $4 tip which was really generous since she only wrote our order down, plopped the food on the table and disappeared. we won't be visiting again but if you do go make sure you lock your car doors as the area surrounding hi-lo's looks a little seedy.

kitsap's best breakfast. hi-lo’s is by far the best breakfast place in kitsap county. their cottage-fried potatoes are outstanding. it is funky, fun, has great coffee, super people and every menu item is savory including all the breakfast items, best hamburgers, outstanding meatloaf, and try the crazy chicken sandwich.

amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. my niece took me to her favorite restaurant, hi-lo's and it was amazing!! the service, the food, the atmosphere is all worth any wait time. we did get there early so we got a table right away. the lunch box at the end, great ending to a perfect meal!!!!

love this place!. hi-lo has a super friendly staff, great atmosphere and fantastic food at excellent prices. i especially like their breakfast burrito, which is served on a delicious tortilla that tastes homemade with fresh salsa on the side...i get hungry just thinking about it! the only drawbacks are the fact that this very popular restaurant is often crowded and since it is so small, there isn't anywhere comfortable to wait for seating to open up and it's only open until 3pm. if you enjoy simple, home-style fare in a funky atmosphere, then hi-lo is the place for you!

i had the blueberry pancakes! let me tell you there is no shortage of fresh blueberries hiding under that golden batter! the waitress was super friendly. the only downside is that they stay super busy so you might have to wait. have no worries though, just grab one of the mixed match coffee cups from the bar and have a cup of joe. highly recommend place for breakfast!

funky neighborhood cafe. hi-lo's is a fun place to take out of towners. their thermos "museum" is awesome and i love their funky 60's atmosphere. the build it yourself salad is a favorite of mine. staff is very friendly too. wish it was open for dinner!

excellent breakfast/brunch. can't say enough good things about hi lo's. try it but it gets crowded so unless you get there early you might have to wait a bit on a weekend. it is worth the wait.

awesome! very homey! loved the grab-your-own-coffee idea, makes it personal! moon biscuit and gravy is amazing love the concept! everything was just perfect! a little chilly tho. i wouldn't say small, but quaint! server made sound effects when delivering food-so cool! had that crazy extended family feel! food was fresh!

this was an awesome find thanks to urban spoon. loved heidi and her wonderful attitude. food was excellent! don't miss this gem.

best place in bremerton. been coming here for the past couple years on a regular basis. most friendly, amazing staff i've ever encountered. food is inexpensive breakfast/lunch type standards with a few unique additions that give the place a lot of charm. coffee is always good.

moon biscuits & gravy are a must try, great value great food!
