i ordered the $23 tavern burger off the brunch menu. i was served one of the worst burgers i have ever had in my life at any price. dry and hard tasteless meat that i ate less than half of, it tasted like a cross between old mcdonalds burger patties and left-over dried out meatloaf.
i was part of a birthday celebration and never send food back in a restaurant so i just did not eat it. i quietly mentioned it to the waiter as he was collecting the dishes and he said i should have sent it back earlier. he did not offer to take it off the bill as he should have done, i will not be back to hendricks tavern and cannot recommend it.
