i ate here today and had really good steak, chicken, and french fries and they were all really good!

this is a classic portuguese restaurant that has an indoor dining room that has an old european flare feel about it along with an outdoor courtyard with weekend live music. we have been coming to this restaurant for years. it has been always very good and the staff is exceptionally pleasant and friendly. if you do not mind the noise in the indoor dining room, you will usually hear some pleasant live music on a saturday night. they do have a selection of authentically cooked portuguese dishes which are also interesting and very good. the captain is portuguese and he is very knowledgeable about all of their dinner selections. the sangria is great and they are not pricey.

i've been @ this restaurant quiet a few times and each time i go i fall in love with it all over again. the food is amazing, the service is good and the place is very cozy. i recommend this restaurant all the time and only keep hearing good things about it. thank you heart of portugal for always giving me a good dinning experience. ;-)

food is good but too 'americanized' if you ask me. there's no portuguese spirit on what they serve and the service is slow.
