i went with my family while travelling back from punjab to delhi. and we had some amazing time at haveli. the food was delicious and cost worthy. the ambience was so relaxing and staff too, was really polite. food service was quick.
we ordered chole bhature, dal makhani, mix veg, butter naan accompanied with some rice. phirni at the end of the meal added to the joy.
i'd recommend people to go there.

to be a regular here and to see it go down the drain over the years - that’s what the experience at haveli is. with the quality and quantity of food that has gone down horribly, the prices have only increased. what’s worse? the service. the staff which thinks no end of themselves and behaves like entitled people who give no damn about the customer!

once used to ensure to visit here every time we visit punjab, to now where i’d never want to return, this has been a horrible downfall of a place which could have been so good.

my trip as on 16 june 2018
haveli
as awesome the name is and the weight of the word is the place is equally great and amazing in terms of food and old collection.
i went in there during the lunch time and as always the crowd was at the peak. different people from various places were around and in it
we went inside the haveli premises and sat far in the perfect corner.
we ordered the following items
1 x haveli di special thali (do try this)
1 x special ambarsaari thali
2 x khichdi
1 x sweet lassi
3 x tea
starting with the most amazing item the haveli di special thali was yummy and mind blowing
it consisted of -
dal makhni
mix veg
panner item
dhai bhalla
kheer
rice
papad
and 3 tandoori rotis.
i am telling you the quantity is self sufficient to fill a single person stomach just perfect.
key points for this thali was the kheer ,dhai bhalla, dal-makhni.

then comes the
special ambarsaari thali -
which was on some different level with 2 lachaa parantha and some tasty channa, dalmakhni with curd and some small onions.
this whole costed me around 1200₹
by the end we had some tea which was great too as the weather that time was quite normal.
and a little secret for me can have tea/coffee anytime. 😋
a little regarding the service is that sometimes it can get slow with the crowd it handles but then the palace should be having some counter options too.
by the way an amazing experience from #haveli

review-

of all of it's branches, this is the best one i have been to. it offers a lot of variety in terms of tourist attraction. it has a restaurant with lots of village like setup as attached in the pictures and a proper village like area set up with different activities.
we were seated in restaurant area and we ordered it's butter paneer masala and stuffed kulcha and sarso ka saag with makki ki roti combo. it was the best meal ever!
the complimentary gud and chutney was awesome.
i would say it's a must visit if you are ever in the area.
but, one thing to keep in mind is, this is a very busy area and despite the service being fast you might have to wait your turn to get seated as this outlet is almost always full.

haveli is an authentic north indian restaurant totally imbibed with punjab culture and traditions right from its ambience to utensils and food. situated on the g.t. road highway, it is liked a lot by the travellers. the food has that basic punjab's village flavour. must try their lassi for a tongue tingling experience.

the traditional punjabi set up is amazing, it is worth spending a moment at night. talking about the food, it's tasty and has a nice homely feel to it. the only negative is it takes a lot of time specially on a saturday night, i have waited for more than 30 minutes for food on a few occasions, that is something to be improved. and yeah, if you go there don't forget to try the stalls, they serve pretty nice food.
