brilliantly sunny day begging for a glass of chilled white. i came here for brunch and that's just what i got along with one of their beautiful blaas sandwiches. food was lovely and the wine was great. would definitely return there for both!

since i've been trying non-indian breakfast in india for some months now, i really love trying different places when i go out of country. so when i saw this place featured in great breakfast collection we went here to have our breakfast. we really liked it especially when you can have craft beer along with your breakfast that is something you don't usually get in india but having it outside india that was one of a kind experience.

the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. the coffee is amazing and the food is delicious! it's the perfect place to have your first meal of the day and the cafe itself is so cozy. highly recommend it!!!

hatch & sons is a great breakfast option and offers an excellent vibe.

my bride and i stopped in after arriving in dublin and the breakfast and coffee hit the spot. i've seen reviews stating the portions are small but i would strongly disagree and have noted this is prevalent from american's who are accustomed to eating more than they should anyhow.

the food was good but the eggs i had were overdone for my liking and per how i ordered. all else was great though and the coffee was wonderful.

i travel to dublin from the states on business frequently and i have had a lot of wonderful breakfasts all around ireland.  but hatch's serves the best breakfast (and coffee) in dublin.  plus, the location is perfect to start your day!

gorgeous breakfasting location in the basement of a georgian building on st stephen's green- himself opted for the full irish equivalent while i stuck with eggs and roast tomato. fresh, local ingredients and great service :)

what a little gem tucked away under my fav cultural place in dublin- the little museum. coz its payday, i treated myself to double baked eggs and roasted tomatoes. slightly on the hard side but perfect to set me up for the day, and at €5.50 who could argue. they do supper clubs on the third wednesday of the month which i can't wait to try. definitely be back - and you get 10% discount if you visit the museum!

coffee lovers, you need to go here. i had a really lovely breakfast here but the coffee is the real reason i'm raving about it. i had poached eggs with avocado along with a latté. it was divine. the coffee was that perfect velvety kind, not too strong, and not too bitter. i have my eye on some other items on this menu too, which calls for a return visit.

see you soon hatch & sons 👋🏼

excellent friendly service, combined with a delicious breakfast. the coffee is certainly indulgent, i think they add cream, it was very smooth. lovely for a dublin breakfast. definite spot.

popped in here for coffee and i have to say i was majorly impressed. having ordered an americano, the waiter suggested i try their filter coffee as it was stronger and cheaper and in his opinion, better. i gave it a go and i was not disappointed. it was one of the nicest cups of coffee i have had in a while. i didn't eat, but the food that was being served around me looked delicious. i will definitely be back and for sure will be eating next time.

love the location & decor of the spot but, couldn't help but feel that the focused more on the presentation of the food than the flavour.

having a traditional irish fry served largely baked is just wrong..... i'm all for healthier alternatives but it left the dish very dry. baking the dish allowed it to be served in little cash iron pans which, while looking cute, defiantly didn't do any the final product any favours.

lovely bright location, i loved the decor but the food itself didn't blow me away.

bit of a hidden spot on stephens green but worth a visit! such a nice setting with all their cakes freshly baked there and the kitchen opens into the front room of two - almost smells like a bakery! i went for the chicken salad which was lovely and more generous than average! topped it off with a chocolate brownie which was still warm from the oven and served with cream - the brownie was almost crumbling it was so fresh! great service too which a nice touch of the waiter regularly topping up your water or drinks! would recommend for lunch for sure!

recently visited hatch & sons at the little museum of dublin on st. stephen's green.

walk down the external steps into the basement of 15 st. stephen's green into a v cute little courtyard.

really old fashioned fireplace takes centre stage as you walk in the door (you can just about make it out in the above photo!) and an entrance that's looks like it should be the front of someone's house leads you to another seating area. it looks like a house drawn by a child as they imagine a house with windows on either side of the door.. afraid my fiancé refused to take a photo to share as i couldn't get a good angle from my seat but if you decide to visit you'll see what i mean.

we got a pot of filter coffee. i ordered the bakers basket (brown soda bread, scone & half a blaa - all toasted & served with butter and jam or marmalade).fiancé ordered porridge and we (rather boldly) decided to have dessert at breakfast and ordered an apple streusel cake!!!

the toast was well toast but not overly done. it was good :)

fiancé obviously started with the healthy option.

nice spot at any time of day i would think!

i visited here for the first time the other day for the all day breakfast after hearing great things from fellow "zomato-ers" 😂 oh wow did i love my experience i went for the double fried egg, sausage, bacon with fried tomato an soda bread and it was absolute delicious, cooked to perfection and soooo tasty!!! i would recommend everyone to try here! my only complaint if even a complaint really... was that it was extremely busy here on the day i visited which was a tuesday so i can only imagine what it's like on weekends! service was a little slow due to the amount of customers and we were a while waiting for our order to be taken, i would definitely book a table for my next visit too, and would recommend others to do so as you could be left waiting for a seat as its a very popular restaurant! but all in all i can't really complain about my order not being taken straight away as there was tonnes of other customers to attend to and it was definitely worth the wait!!!

just visited this place this morning for breakfast/lunch, and i have to say it was definitely worth it. i went with the smoked salmon and mackerel board and if you like fish they way i do you will love it. it was very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of the food. place had a nice feel to it too, not very spacious but a good atmosphere there with a lot of business meetings/lunches happening keeps a buzz in the place. had a cappuccino with lunch and a glass of there own lemonade which was so refreshing. one small negative to this place is it could be quite hard to find, literally one sign and you have to go downstairs for restaurant but overall, i would say this was definitely a good food experience and i would easily recommend it.
