awesome food and great service by the staff. behaviour of goutam das was excellent. loved the ambiance and food fully.

chowmein was great..but chilly chicken gravy tasted bland...the coating of chicken can be less...though chicken chunk size is good.

surprisingly incompetent handling of customers, coupled with complete inefficiency. can't believe they allotted us a seat and then forced us to leave after giving plates and accessories on the lame excuse of somebody numbered before us. utter callousness to say the least . will think 10 times before revisiting. must intimate all my acquaintances not to venture in this shabby unprofessional outlet. came out without eating.

missing basic etiquettes of dining and serving. food is a topic often ventured into by the reviews, but what i faced trouble regarding the restaurant was it's handling of customers and allotment of seats and putting the customers in an embarrassing situation and had to return home amidst the goddamn storm. lacks the methods of smooth functioning of a restaurant and it's really infuriating to have waited 1 hour in the waiting and then to face harassment coz allegedly "they miscalculated the number of customers and some families were registered before us". overall... an asshat handling of customers and situation.

i had heard good things about hatari and wanted to try it out but it being so far in to the south kolkata, i never had the chance. i was elated to finally see the restaurant opening up a branch in sodepur. sodepur has now become a hotshot in terms of new restaurants opening in the area.
my first impression about the interiors of the restaurant was that it was good. not too fancy like its chowman brother nor too shabby.
so we were celebrating the marriage anniversary of my father and my mother in law.the waiters were kind enough to get our cake ready. we had a good time and they also repacked it. it was my first cake cutting event at a restaurant.
we ordered two types of rice noodles(meifoon) schezuan egg and chicken rice noodles and egg prawn and chicken rice noodles. in gravy we ordered fish in hot garlic sauce(8pcs) and duck in red wine sauce(6pcs). the prices were 300,290,350 and 380 respectively.
they did take about 20 minutes to get the food ready which we did not mind because of the good ambience.
they did mess up 1 item of our order by bringing normal noodles instead of rice noodles and they obliged by changing it.
i simply loved all the items. the quantity was more than enough. the fish pieces were bigger than those of competing restaurants. i loved the normal egg chicken and prawn rice noodles more than the schezuan one. the duck item was quite good. i have tasted duck before and that had been bony. i was lucky to have had 3 juicy and fleshy pieces this time and was avoided by my partner and my mil and fil.
i would like to point out some cons. the waiter who served us our food was too careless and dropped the gravy here and there. the food was tastier in momo i am than over here. for example the fish items makes you go wow in momo i am and also the tangra restaurants but here it was okayish. we could not guess which fish it was in hatari. i would stick to chicken the next time
this place also serves squid ,lamb and pork.
i am definitely coning back over here for its greater quantity than its peers, which makes it value for money.

taste is not as per expectation as hatari is a brand name. try to improve. never gonna buy again.

when someone order for cantonese mixed noodles, i think he/she also expects to get that. but i got gravy noodles. no one in my family eats gravy noodles, so the entire dish got wasted and i had to order again from a different restaurant. i hope your employees do know how to read an order and follow it. this absolutely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. an advice to everyone else who is reading this review, please think again before ordering. don't just go for the reviews.

very tasty food

we ordered vegetables rice noodles and crispy chilli mushrooms, the food was delicious and full of flavors. the green chili sauce was a treat to the tast buds. appreciable service by mr. joydip.
