cafeteria style, order at counter and take your tray to a table or booth. wide selection of mostly meat oriented dinners, i.e. comfort food. excellent turkey dinners and turkey cobb salad, pictured. nice long bar. good place to have a beer with or without dinner.

excellent reuben sandwich! red cabbage side was also delicious.

i'm reminded of the old cafeteria style restaurants when i go to harry's hofbrau. yes, there line can be long, winding back and forth 4 times, but those servers keep it moving pretty fast. if you're in the mood for big portions of comfort food, harry's it the place to go. i was debating between the roast beef, roasted turkey and the beef strogenoff . when i saw my roommate's plates heaping with rice and dark beef strogenoff, my mind was made up. this strogenoff wasn't your typical sour cream base, it was more of just a thickened beef stock, rich is flavor. they don't skimp on the beef either, there was more than enough, each bite contained huge chunks of meat. being the good ol' american boy i am, i had to also get a green salad smothered with ranch dressing, mac and cheese and a roll. i'm sure the mac and cheese isn't from scratch as they have huge hotel pans full of it, but the texture was just like home. it cheese sauce wasn't grainy or broken. talk about carb overload, but it was a

turkey and carrot cake. cafeteria line is always moving and their hot turkey sandwich is fab. potatoes or stuffing, lots of gravy and your choice of bread. the carrot cake is perfect.
but let me tell you that in a bind for a birthday? pick up a whole cake for the party. in a bind for a party? pick up a whole turkey (comes with a gallon of gravy and a gallon of stuffing) and its reasonably priced too. we took a bird to a informal wedding dinner and we were the hit of the party. and i didn't stress.. that's worth a million.
