underwhelmed. i had the chicken udon here today, and i can't honestly say i'm a fan. the grilled teriyaki flavor took away from the rest of the dish, and while the spiciness wasn't a problem at first, the dish was large enough that it had a sort of cumulative effect over time; with each bite the spiciness built up a bit more, until it overwhelmed everything else.
it wasn't bad. but it was disappointing. that being said, i plan on coming back here to try the sushi, because i hear it's pretty incredible, and i'm not such a grump that i'm going to let a bowl of udon damage my opinion of a place.
