hamdi was also one of the recommended places to go in istanbul. it is know for its kebab.
as we entered the receptionist told us that there is a waiting list for 1 hour. we decided to wait because it was worth it.
he was very kind to find us a table after 10 minutes of waiting which shows how quick and efficient they are.
this brand of hamdi lays over the breathtaking view of the bosphorus bridge and the sea and has a 360 view over that area.
food:
hommus : it tasted good for a turkish place. it came with a small vegetable plate. and served with fresh hot mini bread buns which are good.(4/5)
fries also were really good.
tawouk kabab: the portion was very good. one generous tawouk skewer comes with a grilled tomato , parsley with onions, filled pepper and wheat rice with chickpeas. (5/5)
beef shawirma with tomato sauce and laban on the side. very tender meat and great taste. for lebanese it might taste just like kafta bel soniye. also portion was very good. (5/5)
meat kebab: the meat was soo tender and juicy and with barely fat which was perfect, also comes with grilled tomato, pepper, parsley with onions and wheat rice with chickpeas. (5/5)
