habana blues tapas restaurant

yum!. went here tonight, its derby weekend and things were busy. we still received great service. i had the grilled veggie sandwich on the cuban bread w/ fries. my child had the grilled cheese kids meal w/ sweet potato fries that had a wonderful honey dipping sauce. the portions for our meals were decent, the taste was great, and i can't wait to go back. seems like a nice place for a late night date too.

fantastic eatery!. the food was amazing! the ambiance was fantastic and the prices were right on target. i highly recommend this restaurant. this was our first time and we will definitely be back!

well, can't say i had much of a chance to try the food. the staff was too busy talking to even bother seating me. if the customer service is normally like this i don't see this place staying open long!!!

wonderful food. the food tasted absolutely wonderful and the service was top notch. would recommend to anyone!

one of my favorite!. i've been here many times. last two years for my birthday and several times in between. have had many items from the menu and would order any of it again. the place itself could use some tlc and maintenance bad. from the busted bench at the front door to the courtyard umbrellas and busted gate.

should be ashamed to be considered a restaurant.

great local place with funky atmosphere in an old bank. ,they have beef wellington there!! also love the jamon y queso board and i always get a couple extra chicken empanadas to take for lunch.

i'll never eat here... i was in a meeting and got out near the restaurant and all of a sudden i had to use the men's facilities.. first no one was at the door to greet customers.. second i asked someone where the restroom was and was told rudely that i can't use the restroom cause i was not eating.. well how did he know that without asking.. i just asked where it was and i was gonna eat at the bar but because i was talked to so rudely i'll never go back there and i will be talking to all my friends and yes there might be an article soon since i do work for the courier-journal... the local newspaper in town... i'm originally from dallas, tx where service is everything.. i see they don't believe in that here.. so no i will never recommend this restaurant and because i am so upset i'm gonna right the same review on every restaurant app i have.. thank you but no thanks.. ... someone needs to step up there.. that's why it was empty

great food and atmosphere. our server vanessa was fantastic. you should ask to be seated in her section. my wife and i really enjoy this place.

wtf. i have always liked their food. however drove from sellersburg in today to eat at their new location and they were closed!! arrived approximately 3:30. their web site says open today 11 am to 9 pm. i'm tired of restaurants posting their hours and not being open during those hours. if/when they close due to not enough business they have no one to blame but themselves. i'm at dragon kings daughter spending my money.

go to the new albany exchange instead. this was my second time here, the first with a large group of friends and everything was great. about a year later i went there to celebrate my wife's grandmothers birthday and had an awful experience. server couldn't even explain what hummus was, so neadless to say he couldn't explain the rest of the menu well...we all ordered our main dish and everything came out very disfunctional which didn't bother me much until it started taking more and more time to get everyone in our party their food. as for me... let's just say the waiter was already discussing checks before i even recieved my food. everyone else at our table had already finished their meal. he did keep coming back and apologizing and making excuses as to why my food never came out. i'm a pretty calm and level headed guy but when he made the excuse of a large party has the kitchen swamped, i lost total faith in that restaurant.
as for as the place to go in downtown new albany...go to the exchange.
