i've been here twice for lunch. both times the food was good and the service was excellent.

the dessert options were a little lacking. i only saw cupcakes on both visits.

granted, they were more appealing and creative than average, but if you didn't feel like a cupcake, you were out of luck (or in luck if you don't need a dessert like me).

best. salad. ever.. okay, its the best salad if you happen to like roasted golden beets, goat cheese, marcona almonds, asparagus, tomatoes, bell pepper, all served on a bed of greens with a dainty roll. i happen to like all of these things and i can honestly say, after having lived in many parts of the country, the farmer's salad at the grove is my favorite salad yet.

best espresso in albuquerque!. fresh, organic ingredients and (chicago brand) intelligentsia coffee make this my 'special occasion' place for lunch or brunch. everyone loves the crepe-style pancakes; but my personal favorite is the fresh mozzarella & arucola on olive bread sandwich--fresh and delicious! the espresso is creamy and intense. walk around the neighborhood after lunch to see all the interesting houses.

so happy to find the grove. i have a server gluten allergy which can sometimes be a burden when eating out. the staff was so kind to suggest a few breakfast dishes i could eat. i had the gf crepes and when they came i could not believe how absolutely delicious they were... literally like a piece of heaven in my mouth. i cannot wait to eat there again next tine i am in albuquerque.

a colleague referred this place to us when he found out that my husband and i are going to albuquerque for the weekend. and i must say that i'm glad that he did.

the grove is a spacious restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. it's a clean place with a lot of natural light coming in. we went for brunch last sunday and there was a pretty long queue at the counter to place an order. having said that, the line moves pretty quick. my husband and i met this lovely couple behind us in the queue who were regulars at the grove and recommended some really good dishes.

so we ended up getting the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito.
so i was expecting a simple toast and avocado topped with salt and pepper. but what i got was a treat for the eyes and for the tongue. the toast was generously coated with a thick layover of avocado topped with a boiled egg and some colorful veggies. there was also a salad on the side which was fresh and flavorful. the presentation of the dish was also very well done.
now the breakfast burrito is definitely one of the best burritos i've had so far. the unique combination of green chilies and goat cheese to the usual fare makes it a winner of a dish.

the overall experience was enjoyable and the food was delicious. i'd highly recommend the grove for a nice relaxed sunday brunch.

i've been going to the grove cafe for years. the food is good to very good. although their profit margin must be great! for instance oatmeal $7.95, a little high, but as advertised ... the total bill was $13 and change for oatmeal and coffee? when i inquired i was told that essentially i was paying for four (4) cuatro cups of coffee, this is done just in case i wanted a refill! i never get a refill. next time around i ordered a $10 dollar breakfast entre', minus something or other, much to my surprise i was charged a dollar or two for deleting the something or other.
i eat out six days a week at various cafes and restaurants. i have traveled extensively here in the us and europe and i have encountered these practices. the grove cafe must have a great profit margin.

first time to visit abq and this is the first place i landed to grab a bite to eat. got in around noon and it was super busy. the lines were long but moved at a good pace and there were a lot of servers pointing people where they needed to go after orders were taken. got good seats inside and got helped right away. i enjoyed a fabulous chocolate cupcake and a cappuccino while i waited on my breakfast. my main dish was the croque madame... i could eat 5 of them. fabulous flavor and ingredients with whole mustard on the side, fabulous. this is such a fun, hip spot to experience. gotta be one of the best places in town.

this restaurant is very clean and contemporary. this is also the restaurant in which the tea was served in breaking bad. the prices are a little high, $10.75 for a tuna melt but it is worth it and comes with seasonal fruit and pickled peppers. i recommend this place to anyone, they even have an enclosed patio for all season dining. they sell trinkets and books too and it is in a building where other businesses are had. this is a counter order place and they also serve beer and mimosas.

went for brunch and was very impressed.  the food and service is top notch.  fresh ingredients and an impressive breakfast menu made my meal memorable.  the artisan, small batch mustard was a revelation.  do yourself a favor and try grove, you will be happy you stopped by.

this restaurant is a tad hit or miss. the wait isn't awful and the food comes fast. i've had the beef and three cheese w/ onions and green chile and both were fantastic then i had the mozzarella and it was ok, the bread was almost to hard to bite through and it needed some kind of sauce, maybe balsamic? drinks were great, cupcakes were pretty good. my husband and i both loved the kale side salad and pickles. we'll definitely come again.

the grove is a great spot downtown with a nice patio and fresh food. they use locally sourced, organic and the best quality of ingredients available. before i was diagnosed with celiac disease, i would love to go here and order the three cheese grilled sandwich. it was so delicious and served with a sweet pickle on the side, which was oddly a great compliment to the rich, and savory cheese sandwich.

i don't go here as often because there are very few things on the menu that are or could be gluten free, but aren't labeled gluten free on the menu. i'm also not sure if the staff is aware of cross-contamination and the safety precautions necessary to ensure that a gluten free meal stays gluten free. i wish they would address this on their menu and carry more gluten free items.

while i live in oklahoma, i'm eventfully going to have to come back just for the grove pancakes. oh. my. gosh. yum.

after stopping in for lunch one day, we decided we had to go back the next day for breakfast. the food is so fresh and delicious. the mimosas were amazing as well. it is also a cute little cafe atmosphere. perfect for a relaxing brunch.

how can so many people like this place?. we stopped in at 8 am saturday for the first (and only) time. all food was edible, but... my wife's sandwich was completely boring. my burrito was 95% tortilla, 5% egg, and .0001% green chiles. and it was cold.

it was cold that day and we sat at the only open table, one near the door to the very cold porch. apparently they have a rule there. customers are courteous and close the door behind them while employees are jerks and let the wind blow in.

another apparent rule: newly arriving customers clear the dirty tables to other dirty tables so they have a place to eat.

we won't be back.

never disappoints. i've been here numerous times with and without guests. no one has ever complained, except about the occasional long lines/wait for a table at peak times. the food never disappoints. my favorite is the grilled cheese. i add grilled onions to it and it tastes like a fabulous onion soup. i love their cupcakes too.
