yummy clam chowder. hunger was creeping up slowly while waiting for our connecting flight to las vegas, so we decided to try a bowl of hot soup (perfect for the cool/overcast conditions in seattle) at great american bagel.
while everyone in the lineup was ordering bagels, i noticed great american was offering ivar's clam chowder. i've heard of the bigger ivar's on alaskan way, so i though i would try a bowl at seatac to see what it is all about.
with tax, the soup cost $5.20. not bad, about average for soup.
the soup was incredibly thick and creamy, and i noticed a very nice bacon flavour to it. strewn throughout the soup were clams, and plenty of it.
overall, it didn't disappoint, and it made for a hearty meal.
