the perfect little cafe with the siesta vibes that jabalpur deserved. the interiors are fabulous and "wow" is your first expression when you enter it. the furniture and wall decors find their symphony well and i couldn't wait to grab the menu.
positives first, the white sauce pasta was one of the best and authentic served here, the only thing lacking was some parmesan, else the creamy texture and subtle notes of pepper and broccoli made it perfect. the star for me were their potli kebabs which were marinated optimally and those succulent and juicy flavours left a continuos recurring craving on my palate. minced chicken flavoured mildly inside a chicken breast wrapped up and shown the tandoor for some quality time created this masterpiece, a must have and am definitely coming back for this. the pan grilled fish filet with lemon cilantro sauce was excellent as well, a little work on the potato mash required though. the best part was their sauce not overpowering the delicate taste of the fish which is quite a common mistake done here by the cooks.
some negatives now, the service lacked training, no cold water available, no ice and no attention. a request of having a second menu was denied, a waiter insisted us on having bolognese pasta which is supposed to be their white sauce pasta. the owner came to the rescue. it's a new restaurant and being jam packed on a sunday eve might have created a few novelty errors. also, i tried out their dhaba style veggies with laccha parantha which i didn't like. the acs murdered the parantha within 5sec and it got too hard n dry, whereas the veggies were sweet for no reason. they need to add a dessert menu soon also the menu doesn't have any dish anyone's grandma might be cooking, hence a bit disappointed with that as i was expecting some nostalgic recipes.
anyways, overall a great place to hangout with family and friends and am definitely coming back for some of their delicacies. #recommended
