worst dining experience i have had in awhile. they were set to close at 11 pm. i arrived at 10:15 pm and was welcomed for seating. i ordered the lobster tail, shrimp and scallop dish. i asked that she ensure that the lobster was not overlooked. my food arrived quickly and so was then asked by my server at 10:40 pm i needed anything else because the kitchen is closing now. i explained i hadn't even tried my meal. she asked if i wanted anything else to drink. i was confused. "are you saying i can't get a soda? you are open until 11 pm. i should be able to be served until then."

i tasted my food and the lobster and shrimp were rubbery. i had to get up and find someone to tell them. my server came to my table and i told her about the dish being the exact opposite of my specific instructions. her reply was that she told kitchen what i said. then she asked if o wanted something else. only to cut herself off and say, "oh no. you can't because the kitchen is closed." so i told her to take it away and to take the entree off of my ticket. she left and came back to tell me that she told her manager and she is going to see. but she didn't know if she was going to remove it from my ticket. i further let her know that i wouldn't be paying for the dish. they finally relented and i left.

i will never done there again. i do not recommend it at all. i would rate it at 0 if i could. 😡

had the happy lamb, it was basically kung poe chicken with lamb instead, worth $22, naaaa. the place is very nice, drinks over priced, waaay over priced, so watch what you order. one of our party found a plastic lid in the bottom of his crown royal sniffter...oh well.

worth the price. went to grace's recently with my husband and had a great time. the hostess was a little off, but the waitress was attentive, quick and friendly. the prices were fairly high for a strip mall next to panera, but once inside the restaurant you no longer feel like you're in a strip mall. the crab cakes were better than the crab bomb i usually get at jerry's, and husbands seafood dish was also delicious. the drinks were good and strong. we will definitely go again.

great food - disinterested wait staff. my wife and i went for a late evening dinner at grace's. the hostess was polite and we waited half an hour on valentine's day to be seated. not bad. the menu's were unique, but pricey. expect to pay between $25-$40 a person depending on your order. our waitress seemed bored when she took our order. some of our order was incorrect and she disappeared. we had to ask another waiter for assistance. we gave the tip she deserved. advice - don't go late at night to dine. the food was very good. chilean sea bass is succulent (ask for the tempura sauce).

not a good value. i voted i liked the food. i had the hibachi filet mignon. it was good.

however, compared to other japanese steak houses such as benihana, grace's is very overpriced.

subrina w. i loved this restaurant. the decor is exciting and the food choices are plentiful. hibachi, sushi or regular table dining are all available with warm or cold sakes! i like the fact that they paired a wine with each entree. you can also try little or big plates of a la carte items. the dessert menu was the final cherry on top and curiously the dessert prices were very reasonable. the dinner prices are high for the area, but they're about the same as in d.c. so saving the gas and parking and head for this one in a mall.

excellent...but.... i love this place and their martini's are untouched by most. with that being said if you drink more than one martini with brand liquor you better have a nice fat bank account because it is quite costly. 2 special martini's would pay for a meal somewhere else. all in all i go there when i have cause to celebrate. yummy yummy.

different than before.... most locals love graces fortune in bowie for the reasonably priced and delicious chinese food. the new graces in bowie / lanham is still very good but its an hibachi and sushi restaurant not chinese. its not cheap, but its the same pricing as sakura but better food and servings than the chain sakura restaurants.
