great variety of food. very friendly staff, great service.

we are fairly regular customers as the food is good, but had poor customer service today at the register. we waited for the person ahead of us to place their order then instead of waiting on us the woman at the register rang up the take out order for the person behind us. that was bad enough then she rang up a take out order for two girls that literally walked in the back door while we were still waiting. she preceded to say i'm not trying to be rude your next, but take out orders are more important. great way to lose customers, we won't be back.

break the chain, eat local!!!. the burgers are fresh, juicy and full of flavor at a good price. the restroom is clean. dylan provides great customer service! my wife and i eat at gold burger's 4 to 5 times a month. we are all about supporting locally own business. you owe it to yourself to try this place.

from the 1990s to the late 2000s goldburgers bagel & deli was formerly goldbergs, a bagel shop in the center of newington, ct. the bagels tasted good but the shop itself lacked a creative identity. customers stopped by to buy bagels or deli treats but never stayed for long. goldburgers is a much different story. when you enter this brightly colored restaurant, you’ll be immersed by creativity. you might first notice some local faces hanging in picture frames on the wall. these are the winners of goldburgers’ food challenges. the “big dog” and “trinity” challenges require contestants to finish a large amount of food in less than 45 minutes. you will also notice a specials board and a suggestion box. if you have a creative

great burgers. we had a groupon and were in the immediate area so deciding where to dine was easy. at this small storefront restaurant with limited seating, you can do it their way by ordering one of several combinations or do it your way by creating your own by adding a wide variety of condiments. my wife and i opted to do it our way with her ordering a single hamburger patty with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and goldburgers' sauce. my double patty burger was topped with buffalo sauce, grilled onions and mushrooms and banana peppers. pardon me while i burp. our patties were cooked to medium, juicy and provided a good burger to patty ratio. we rounded out this feast by adding a bottomless cup of diet cola and a full, ½ would have sufficed, of their hand cut, cooked to fries. the food was very good though the roll became soggy, would have preferred a grilled roll, near the end of the meal. the staff was very patient and friendly. i am looking forward to returning.

amazing!. i have been going to goldburgers about a year now. so often they are on speed dial on both my cell and job phone, and they know it's us when we call! love that personal touch, by the way. now for the burgers. ok, so, you've read all the reviews about the burgers...all true! no pre shaped patties here. real meat, no substitutes. today, i stepped outside my comfort zone, and tried the sausage burger. i added a fried egg and bacon, with those amazing fried frizzled onions and cheddar cheese. i am now packing to move in. what??!! talk about heaven between the buns...think pure and simple nirvana. heck, even a vegan would tear this thing up! everything is real. including the bacon, thank god! i loathe that...paper thin thing too many other places have the audacity to call 'bacon'. this is the real deal. now, if only we could have....ahhhh...a sausage patty between two buttermilk pancakes! lol!
really, truly, the best burger i've had in way too many years.

good burger. i liked the burger i had here. everything tasted fresh and the meat quality was decent. i still prefer plan b burger in west hartford but this was very good.

grab the napkins!!. i came home from work with a craving for a burger...and my son stated a friend of his had gone to goldburger...and it was better than the "burger place in west hartford." well, he was right. we absolutely loved the food! the burgers were not the not flat patties...but but the old fashioned, thick, moist and well seasoned meat. my son loaded his up with all his favorites. so once you have this "thing of beauty" in front of you...be prepared...alot of napkins...and an explosion of flavors!

i had the veggie burger...and it was one of the best i have ever had (including my own). it also was hearty, well seasoned and very moist...the most wonderful thing is that i could dress it with anything that i wanted...which made the whole experience complete...and the sauces were amazing. we had a side of 1/2 and 1/2...half french fries and half sweet potato fries...wonder-ous!

this restaurant is a small store front...but it was so clean...and the service was friendly and quick. the store front is downtown; with an outside patio...so, from our table; we all went for a stroll. there was a "car show" on the next street; which made the whole eating experience wonderful.

vegetarian's dream. i have had veggie burgers from all over, made my own, and had every kind of prepackaged veggie burger there is. that being said goldburgers has my overall favorite one, and with the variety of vegetarian friendly toppings you just can't go wrong. besides for their five star veggie burger the sweet potato fries, waffle fries, and onion rings are to die for.

new england dog. a hot dog with tasty chili, onions, mustard, and celery salt. a good side to one of their many burgers!

great!. matt the owner is a nice guy who seems to actually care about your overall experience. i had the fry, (awesome) a new england dog, (chilli, onions, celery salt) the bacon, egg, and cheese burger, (tasty) and i ordered a burger on the special list to go with bbq sause, bacon, and sauteed onions. overall it was a great experienced complete with a nice corner to sit in whilst i listened to my burger sizzle in the kitchen until it was brought out to our table. i will definately return to this place. try them out and give them business. we need to keep places like this alive!

the best!. i just ate the"ed heath" i highly reccomend it.excellent food, excellent people. i can't say enough good things about this place.

what a burger!!!!!!!!!!. on march 20 my brothers and i headed to goldburgers to try and we have to say is wow what a burger and place.
we ordered several items 1 the goldburger itself is two perfectly cooked patties that you just have to try. item 2 the fully loaded fries with chili has a kick to it but i could not put my forked down. the freshness of the meat and potatoes are key. item 3 the pulled pork empanada was juicy tender and most of all it had flavor. item 4 the coney island dog was a great part of the menu. the hot dog has a natural casting and the chili was great.
i can go on about goldburgers andhow it is a great place to eat great old americasn fare. go and check it out you will not be disappointed.
