burgers you can't refuse. godfather's burger lounge has become a regular stop when my wife and i travel to these parts...which, fortunately, is quite often. the main reason is their hamburgers, which rate #1 on my all time hamburger hit parade. from the oversized sesame bun—not just a few scattered sesame seeds, mind you, these seeds cover the bun at a density similar to the population of manhattan—to the perfectly cooked and creatively embellished angus beef hamburgers, all the elements work in harmony.
the many variations on the hamburger offered by their menu takes a few minutes to sort through...they all look so good. the fries are fairly standard though always piping hot and perfectly cooked. and the staff is always attentive and courteous. and a prominent video screen runs a constant parade of hollywood's most glamorous, past and present...a fun sideshow. prices are quite reasonable as well. a must visit if you find yourself near the corner of el camino real and harbor blvd.
