we were there earlier today. the gentleman behind the counter was so wonderful and amazing! he let my daughter and i try a pig cookie it was delicious. she bought strawberry rhubarb pie and i purchased corn beef and cabbage soup. i cannot wait to return and customer service was fabulous! thank you - cannot wait to return!

this place is absolutely amazing. went for sandwiches and they did not disappoint. this location is a deli style restaurant with many many options. had the turkey club and loved it. was easily one of the best sandwiches i’ve had in a very long time. everything was super fresh and delicious. highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a sandwich before heading down to explore the beaches.

i really like their almond pastry. we ate lunch there and my salad was delicious. my husband had the duck which was also good he said. we got tons of pastries to take home. my favorite was the almond pastry but they have a large assortment. they are all very friendly at the counter.

this popular european-style bakery-deli always has a line out the door, but the delicious sandwiches made with crispy-crusted italian bread and salads are worth the wait. squirmy kids start salivating and become more willing to wait when promised their choice of one of the decorated shape cookies in the window display--a whale frosted in blue, a seal topped with chocolate icing, or maybe a panda bear in black and white. yum. best scenario: select a picnic’s worth of goodies to go. more things to do in la jolla. things to do in nearby san diego. travel articles to inspire and help you plan some spectacular local
