pizza was good. i just finished a slice of pepperoni and a slice of buffalo and both were good. they were also good-sized slices. perhaps a little too much oil sitting in the pepperoni but that was easily corrected with a napkin.
the place is smaller than it looked from the outside, maybe 8 small tables for eating in. they have a tv. there were not many pizzas on display for pizza by the slice on this sunday lunchtime visit and they only had a couple other customers come in after me. they may be willing to make whatever someone wanted, i don’t know.
i did not feel welcomed. i arrived at an inopportune time, they were just carrying out two big boxes of sandwiches and had a large pizza order to make. i was an afterthought. no happy friendly people behind the counter during my visit but they were busy so i’ll cut them some slack. because i was eating in my pizza was on real china, a nice touch over using a paper plate. giorgio’s is located in the whiteland towne center.
