we were in boston for my wife's first visit to fenway park, and we wanted to experience the pregame atmosphere near the stadium. the first bar was packed, so we tried game on! we were advised to head downstairs for a better chance at a seat, and there were two empty chairs at the bar. the service was fantastic, the beer was cold and the conversation with a couple of red sox fans was great. this minnesota twins fan was impressed by the welcoming attitude of the boston fans.
