love the fries. regular or sweet potato fries are great .. salads always fresh. can get a bit noisy , but oh well, the food ir worth it.
we go to gadwalls at least once month

gadwall's grill is a nlr / sherwood classic.absolutely love them!!!!! their burgers are deee lish!!!!! and their sweet potato fries awesome!!!!! highly reccomend them!!!!!

food and admosphere great; the last three times we ate burgers we noticed that the patty has gotten smaller . just a plug, like it and won't change just a note of interest.

great local spot. plenty of choices. the blt, chili, and sweet potato fries are great. it is laid back and not fancy by any means but the prices are fair and the food is great.

sherwood/nlr gem for lunch or dinner! you can literally close your eyes and select anything on the menu, it is that good! from burgers to sandwiches(rueben), and the great vegetable soup, and woman made chili, there is something for every taste. the only real sherwood institution ran by people that care about your satisfaction, and you can taste it. have been eating here for about thirty years and have never had a bad experience, ever!

i know gadwall's grill is a classic.  i have memories, ever so long ago, of being a teenage bridesmaid in a particular october wedding where the reception was held in the back room of the then-somewhat young new restaurant in north little rock's north hills restaurant. my teenage years -- and that black bridesmaid dress -- are nothing but memories today, but gadwall's grill saunters on.

we had lunch there today for their juicy cheeseburgers, crispy onion rings and fries. other times, we have enjoyed the rueben and grilled club. grandson liked the cheese pizza. their chili dogs are also really good. forget the dinner platters though.

frozen food. what ever you do do not order the chicken fried steak. prebattered and has no taste or flavor. white gravey even had a sour taste. i recommend going to sonic for a steak sandwich which is also frozen but atleast has flavor and half the price.

best place in town!. gadwall's is definitely a family favorite! it's very low-key and inexpensive, plus the food and service are wonderful! they have the best cheese dip in central arkansas!

stopped in here with the family on a whim. frightfully bad food all around. we left the plates mostly full, paid and left still hungry never to return.

best diner food in town and on a budget, we eat here about 4 times a week. the staff is extremely friendly and capable!!

if hip decor is what you are looking for....go elsewhere. however this place has excellent friendly service and good food. the rye bread on the patty melt was reallu good, meat was fresh and well seasoned and homecut fries were cooked just right. the soaked salad wasnt bad either. overall its good down home cooking.
