they cruise to the top of korean/asian restaurants in spokane county. everything--and i do mean everything--was excellent. we ordered five dishes, including two that leaned perhaps a little too chinese for my preference, and not a bad bite was had in the bunch. i'll spare you a lengthy description of each plate, but will say that all meats/vegs/noodles/etc were wonderfully fresh and expertly prepared. fortunately, korean joints tend not to completely americanize their product, and in the end we patrons score. kim bap rolls (untrained eyes would call it sushi, but it's not) were very nicely prepared and extremely affordable at $3.50--$4 a roll. the mrs is now a convert after trying them. all accompanying banchan dishes were pickled perfection. one very nice and helpful lady did it all, and she was even patient with my pathetic attempts to compliment in korean. dining area was very clean with no clutter or kitsch. but like other similar restaurants, don't expect to be in and out of there quick with everything being freshly prepared. the smartest thing this place did was to relocate from the valley to near the air force base, where they find a very willing clientele of airmen who have been stationed on the penninsula, and folks who accompany them trying korean for the first time. everybody wins...
