fujiyama steakhouse & sushi bar

awesome!!!!. have been to fujiyama about 75 times in the past 3 years that we have lived in this area. can't tell you how awesome the sushi is, especially friday and saturday night from 10pm-12am it is half price sushi. it is to die for. don't get me started on the hibachi with the shrimp and sea scallops that are cooked to perfection! the hibachi is also a fun time and great with large groups of people. you can not go wrong going to fujiyama in avon, oh! it is a must place to eat at!!!

we went there for the first time last night.  there were 6 of us and we all really enjoyed it. the food was good and we had good service. would go back again.

i loved this place. tried the hibachi and would recommend 100%. food was great and our chef, larry, was the most entertaining, hilarious guy i've ever had. he, alone, was worth the trip. i will absolutely be back!

one of the best hibachi places in ohio. i love this place. the experience is great and the food is even better. the rice is great. i recommend this place 100%

this place has two differents styles of service. they are normally good at regular dinner hours but when you go late for the 40% off sushi the quality drops dramatically. very disappointed. the issue is their food is great but it seems like every couple of weeks they change the rules on their special. the waitress was rude and was offended when we told her that the sprite we ordered tasted like club soda and can she fix it.

yummy!. we thought the food was great! they are still a little disorganized, but all in all they were very nice and the food was delicious! we are big fans of shinto's and found the food to be better and much more reasonable in price!

unacceptable service. i took my entire family, a total of 13 people to dinner here. the service was poor, the eggs were burned and they were completely inconsistent. i received 4 tiny cut up pieces of steak, one mushroom and two halved pieces of broccoli. they argued with me over a $3.50 charge for extra rice that we didn't receive and refused to take it off the bill. the $280 bill. i spent almost $300 on dinner and they were rude and nasty and basically called me a liar over $3.50. i will absolutely never return.

i've been to the 1/2 price sushi nights and i think it's a good deal. but their portion is also very small so i usually have to order 2 types of sushi

very good. my wife loves the sushi, we both love the japanese fried rice. the hibachi side of the restaurant is also excellent, and a great deal of fun.

great. this place is very good , kid friendly ,staff is friendly and food is amazing.

half price sushi. to be honest, i haven't been to fujiyama any other time than fridays or saturdays from 10pm-midnight. but since i've discovered the place 2-3 years ago, i've been back about 35 times.

it can get crowded those nights and if you want fast service, i would not recommend going on a busy friday night. the sushi is made by hand and if you sit in the main dining room you can watch it being made. (so the busier it is, the longer it takes).

the sushi itself is fresh and excellent quality. i'd recommend trying the shrimp tempura and the spicy craw-fish.

there have been some terrible servers over the years, but the last time i was there (friday 10/14), the servers i saw in the hibachi room (normally you wouldn't sit there for half-price unless it's super crowded like it was) were awesome.

there are a few quirks to half price sushi: you have to order a drink and it's cash only (if you pay by credit, they'll charge full-price). also, there are some rolls that are not half price, but the server will usually let you know.

overall, it's a great place to spend friday/saturday night with a few friends.

the bar tender was very mean about putting an order in for me and i needed to have a couple of drinks to look at her ugly face

the main reason we go here is for the kid. she loves the hibachi table show. it's always a fun time.
