front porch restaurant

dinner began on their cozy covered patio which was heated and perfect for a fall night! friends had cocktails, which they reported to be seasonal and wonderful. the appetizer - bacon cheese bombs - were worth the trip. the sauce on the appetizer should be sold by the bottle! the entree i ordered was quite disappointing - the “pecan crusted” chicken lacked pecans and appeared to be batter dipped and pan fried and was a mediocre cut of chicken breast. the veggie burger by partner ordered was reportedly delicious and i loved the sweet potato fries served with a caramel drizzle. dessert was also wonderful, the gluten free sea salted caramel chocolate cake was served in a mason jar and would make grandma smile. overall, a wonderful dinner in a beautiful and relaxing setting. will certainly be back as the restaurant is near my home and very conveniently located.

really good food. great atmosphere. they have nightly specials. service is always good. pull pork stack is amazing. salt and caramel desert is very good.

portions we're just right, didn't leave over stuffed​ or hungry. one of the best mashed potatoes in the state (could even contend against vegas restaurants​) and if not for the sake of loosing my dignity, i would have picked my plate clean... and then my neighbor's plate, too!

had catered lunch from a pharma rep in my medical office. enjoyed the food; it didn't reinvent the wheel (flank steak, grilled chicken with fruit salsa, salad, bread pudding) but my only complaint would be the flank steak, which was rather bland. i would recommend front porch to others.

relatively new restaurant. in fact the entire area there is new. it is such a nice neighborhood with big houses and a nearby park… most their customers are people living in that community. i would recommend you go there with your little ones and enjoy a walk around after eating.

delicious. the bacon bombs are the best! the wings and salads are also very good. for dessert, i recommend the bread pudding. it's some of the best bread pudding i've had in bham.
