very nice selection of burger as well as toppings. angus, veggie, turkey, chicken, ahi, and kobe burgers, make your own, or there is a list of specialty burgers to choose from, friendly casual dining. highlight: truffle fries, deep fried pickles, and the tuna me up burger. rivals cheeburger, red robin, and the likes. prices for burgers 8 to 15 dollars, build your own makes you pay per topping.

huh, we're surprised about the mixed reviews. our burgers were cooked to perfection, fat and juicy! we had fried that were crisp and steamed broccoli that was al dente with a hint of garlic. we're sold on this place. can't wait for the miramar outlet location to open!

service and atmosphere was awesome and may be enough to get me back. the food on the other hand was not good. the burgers were so overcooked. when you bill yourself as a burger joint you better have good burgers.

worth a try. it was worth a try to see what all the hype was about. the food and service were "average" and the hose clamp napkin ring and oil rag napkin were cute but that hardly justifies the prices charged for cheeseburgers, mac and cheese and fried pickles. i can think of a number of restaurants in fort myers that serve those items at a much lower price. having said that i don't understand what the hype was about.

having dined at the cape coral location wanted to try the downtown fm’s place. good location, good service at the bar. food was on par with my previous experience at cc. good selection of brews, burgees are good, both tasty and juicy.

the environment as friendly however be careful if you go there while it’s busy you may be forgotten. the drinks were good however they forgot my ordercompletely.

had lunch here and it was quite e busy. judging from the crowd and the familiarity the guests had with the staff and menu, this s a very popular downtown spot. great variety in the burgers (kobe beef? hmmmmmm. sushi grade ahi? hmmmmm) but i opted for the "base model"- black angus. since the menu was so sure of itself, i went with medium rare on my burger and it was just right! excellent quality beef! so, for an upscale burger joint, top marks. what brings this down a mark and a slight was the "theme" was a little over done.... ford's garage. also, choice of sides, while diverse, seemed a little pedestrian. but if you want a gut busting burger portion, friendly service, and a pretty good value (60.00 all in for three with a generous tip) this is a good bet. i ate it all and i'm stuffed!

my husband and i shared a 9 oz kobe beef ford's signature burger - cheddar cheese, thick cut applewood bacon and bourbon bbq sauce. delicious. the kobe beef is a $2.50 upgrade which i was happy to pay. we ordered onion rings and got undercooked french fries instead. our side of broccoli was tasty. the happy hour price for stella artois on draft was $5.25 which i find a bit expensive for a burger joint. service was pleasant but needed to be more attentive.

burgers have gone downhill last few years. i paid extra for cheese and it was so thin and melted away to almost nothing, could barely see it. paid $1 for "carmelized grilled onions" and got a thin slice of red onion definitely not carmelized and didn't look grilled, possible steamed with a lid over the burger while on the grill. ordered burger medium, came well done. waitress was very unfriendly, never smiled or made any greetings, or checked to see how our food was.

clean, friendly and a great selection for even the pickiest diner.  prices were just right for the quality of the product.  a perfect date environment.   love the car above the bar!

this was the first place my wife and i went when we get into fort myers. the waitress informed us they were known for their burgers and homemade mac and cheese. i wouldn't say this was a great burger by any stretch of the imagination. i ordered mine medium and my wife ordered hers medium well. the waitress made sure i was okay with a hot pink center. so obviously, hers came outs more juicy and pink than mine! mine was closer to well done. the only thing that saved this meal was the mac n cheese.

our first visit to this really cool burger and beer restaurant was well worth the visit. the burgers were tasty and the consistency of the fresh meat was wonderful. the ford's signature burger was perfect. the fries were fresh and salted just enough. we ordered french onion soup which was quite flavorful. we also ordered pretzel bread with cheese sauce and it was enough for three to share. loved them. they feature a huge variety of beer and had some nice specials. love the model t over the bar and the themed hand wash sinks in the bathrooms. i would visit this restaurant on a regular basis if i lived anywhere close to ft myers. loved the whole place, the theme, decor, ambience etc.

i'm going back. i've been to the fort myers ford's garage 6 or 7 times, and i've never been disappointed. (but, i don't eat burger.) i always get some kinda chikken or a fish. the sides are great. i've never had bad service, and i've never left any food on my plate. some of my friends have eaten the burgers and been very satisfied. make sure you try the cole slaw and the baked beans.

wow, not good burgers. nice atmosphere, kinda okay price, but bad burgers. it had no taste. it was hard to eat because was obnoxiously tall and overly wet.
