walking out of the foothills grill it was easy to understand why the locals frequent this place, it’s simple, fresh and unpretentious; a family restaurant by definition and the sort of place where locals and passers-through alike can meet and enjoy terrific, fresh and made to order food at extremely reasonable prices…yes, foothills grill truly does epitomize the spirit of the rural community in dahlonega, the embodiment of exactly what the tourists and weekend-getaway folks come looking for when they venture into georgia’s appalachian foothills.

great food, great service, the price was right! i was slightly disappointed that the 'sarcastic' waitress was not on duty this morning ;-)

dining in dahlonega by a local. continuous gossip behind the counter coming from the owner and her daughter. their forked tongue will trash any and everyone including their customers. i have witnessed them being obnoxiously mean spirited to a new hire, a college guy that just needed direction from his manager, save her offensive mouth. these floridian transplants should have left their no-class florida ways behind before moving to a nice town like dahlonega. uninspired food, potentially greasy, served in a dining room that is the color red everywhere. a watering hole for motorcyclists. reasonable prices.

this small town resturant was amazing! the owner and his daughter were so welcoming! best service and food by far! big thumbs up!

food is always greasy and 2 nd rate whether its biscuits or sandwiches its not good. even salad is bad as u might see from above pics they threw the core of the lettuce head in it like trash they are serving. i think the locals here have way too low of standards to keep eatting this junk!!@ also they have no clue what a philly cheese steak should taste like check out that pic. i guess they think if it tastes like old grease its good bc thats been my experince with them after trying multiple menu items##yuck

best breakfast ever... cheesesteak omelet, hash browns, biscuits and service were all amazing. 6 people in my group and we all agreed that this hole in the wall was worth the trip from atlanta. we'll be back!

this was my first and last visit. having to wait for service and food while sitting at the counter was an eye opening experience. long line of patrons checking out at register. not once did i see cashier be friendly or courteous to her customers. no thank you or appreciation expressed to anyone. she seemed to be unfocused and frustrated. counter so littered you could hardly find space to eat. long wait for food - it was removed from the window by another waitress and placed on a table under the window - sat there quite a while. had to tell my waitress my food was ready. no silverware or napkin! sandwich tasted "off" - opened it to put on mayo - some of the lettuce was black and slimy - yuck! did not finish my meal. while waiting, i observed. i saw only one waitress who was pleasant and smiling. her customers seemed to be happy with her service. not sure of her name - something like leah. was told this was a good place to eat and it was a favorite of the locals - don't understand the attraction???

do not pass this place up. excellent country food for excellent prices. one of the best meals i've had in a long time. highly recommended!

fried pork chops, home fried potatoes, grits, scrambled cheese eggs, and a biscuit.. this was one of the best southern meals i have ever eaten! definitely recommend!

this place is amazing! 2nd time here for breakfast!! reasonable prices and great service!!!!

ralynflagle. you would never think it by looking at this hole in the wall attached to a gas station but this place was good!!!! ill definitely be returning!

the service and the food is good. however, the owner's daughter is loud and gossipy, ruining the quaint atmosphere.

delicious and inexpensive breakfast. never eaten lunch or dinner there. love the homely feel to this place. it's nice to be a regular somewhere. owner is super nice and introduced me to nutella. so he basically saved me from a life of despair.

not happy. sarcastic waitress all the time. they can keep this place. i will not go back.
