not good! how someone could rate this place a 5 is beyond me!. i didn't like the food at all. the portion size was really small.  prices not bad but as far as quality nothing really good!

it's our go to place because it's near home. i've eaten here for the past couple of years though and i've never had a bad experience. they are always friendly. i've never had a wrong order. the food has always been good.

negative review. ordered from here twice both times they were extremely rude. will not be going back.

such a lush lawn--time to weed. largely based on the high level of great reviews on urbanspoon, i sprung for dinner for a group of twelve recently as a delivery order from foliage. we ordered the gamut, from fried rice (nice), to egg rolls (ok) to shrimp chow mein (fabulous) and mongolian beef (tasty). we ended up sharing about fifteen items. all the vegetables were clearly fresh and the food overall was very well executed, the delivery was fast and the majority of the food deserved the highest ratings, but there was an embarrassing spoiler. i ordered a lobster dish and couldn't figure out how that dish could cost less than the shrimp chow mein. reason? it had no lobster in it! they substituted surimi, the imitation crab sticks made from cheap pollock. the place is next to a kroger that has a live lobster tank. there isn't an excuse for this gross substitution. i will continue to order the other stuff here, because it really is that good but i suggest that you ask questions before ordering the lobster or you will be ordering a reuben and getting a pbj, which is not cool.

piss poor service. in my past visits i have been, if not happy, then content to eat at this restaurant. the food is sub-par to most places i've been, but acceptable for the price. i've never encountered any problems with service.
until tonight. normally foliage is not our go to chinese place, but being tired and not wanting to travel across town, we decided to frequent it. there were three other couples who left before we were served.
as my date was vegan, he ordered pad thai with no egg and added tofu. she repeated this order back to us and went to put in the order for our food, it arrived in a timely fashion but there was egg in the pad thai. having run into this problem before, we asked that it be taken back and remade without egg. it was, however the plate came back smelling like vomit. the smell was horrific. we asked to be able to order a different dish, and our waitress started screaming. i could hear her from the kitchen shouting that it was our fault that we didn't like the dish, and our fault that the first one had egg. and having never done this before, we walked out. there is no way that i as a polite paying customer am going to allow some upstart server to scream at her customers. this was the worst service that i have ever seen, and i will not be returning.

delivery service was slow. they stated 40 min, arrived in 60 min. ordered crab rangoon, spring rolls, won ton soup, & shrimp fried rice. would rate each a 3 on a scale of 1-10, except the crab rangoon i'd give a 6. i have ordered from foliage before and got better food. very disappointing today. good price isn't good if quality/taste is poor.

just ok. we are new to the area and so we are trying restaurants without prejudice. had dinner delivered for 5. it arrived promptly & the cost was reasonable. ordered a variety of standard dishes: chicken w/vegies, beef/broccoli, lo mein, egg rolls etc., nothing unusual or exotic. one diner thought the sauces were too sweet.
everyone else said, "pretty average."

nice people, good food. about the same quality of food you would expect from the average americanized chinese restaurant, but the staff are super fast, and friendly. they always take care of us at foliage

very nice people. always friendly and good service. my favorite chinese food in town.
