usually very poor service by rude staff. mostly fried and mediocre food. small portions on styrofoam plates with plastic silverware. too lazy to wash dishes?

great lunch!. he had lunch there today and everyone loved their meal! my husband said the buffalo fish sandwich was great, my son loved his grilled fish and i loved my fried shrimp. i was disappointed when the waitress said the fish was frozen talapia though. i don't know why they don't use a local fish considering they are right on the coast. still good though, but one thing i love about eating on the coast is the fresh seafood. staff was helpful and friendly and good atmosphere. we will eat there again for sure.

i was very disappointed in their fish tacos. the grilled fish was very salty and only came with cheese a few tomatoes and lettuce. most fish tacos are served with at least salsa guacamole and sour cream. the restaurant said they had none of these items. not a bad place but c'mon!

good stuff. we had a quick get- together with family here one night. i said, "this place, really?!" to my sister when i saw it. boy was i wrong... all five kids loved it; they acted like seafood fiends for their plates and ours. my sister had me eat fried oysters, i am the raw only type, so this was a first for me. yum cannot wait to go back.

disappointment. they have changed the prices and menu and what is online is not accurate. they give you a cheap bag of chips instead of fries which now cost more, with the sandwich costing more as well. they don't include tartar sauce with to go orders apparently. they use to be great. sad.

what is there not to like?. we are local people who love "just good food". we eat here as often as possible and always bring out of town guests. what can beat eating in a relaxed, pleasant (often outdoor) atmosphere and enjoying good simple local seafood? it's really my kind of place - no unnecessarly frills, more like eating at a friend's back porch in comfort and you won't choke when the bill comes! we highly recommend the flying fish!

no major frills but has indoor and outdoor dining and live music outside on the deck at times. family/kid friendly with plenty of space for the rugrats to roam on the deck. the food: best crab cake on the east coast (no filler just lump blue crab), blue crab claw appitizer is amazing as is their tomato salad side. their healthy choice special is great as well and their quality and freshness of seafood easily exceeds any other local restaurants. the locals that dine there are continuously returning and therefore make this place a staple for many islanders. and the prices are very reasonable considering what you get.

overrated!!!!. i've lived in savannah all my life. we know local seafood here. the flying fish is the worst seafood i have ever eaten. no atmosphere, bad food, road noise from highway 80.

avoid at all costs.

high blood pressure boil. their seasoning on the low country boil is enough to send you to the emergency room! i've had it on two different occasions, way too salty. it's a seasoning issue, not a true low country boil, please go light on the seasoning. i'm done tho!

formerly williams family seafood (which was its name when we last visited savannah in 2004). no-frills, laid-back atmosphere with great beer battered seafood.

i ordered the fish wraps. the server said they were going to call them fish tacos but didn't want customers to associate the hard-shell corn taco shells with it. too icky. i asked what kind of fish came on the wrap. she said, "ponga." as if. at least she
