good but not great. we stopped in for a late lunch and i had the lobster roll. lots of fresh lobster and no mayo, which is a different take on this item. it was good, not great. i would have liked to sample items from the raw bar but was told that's upstairs and different from the downstairs operation. i didn't really understand this concept and would have rather been able to order off either menu as the downstair menu at flo's seemed to only have fried seafood, which isn't really what i am interested in.

every time we visit our daughter and son-in-law in newport, we make it a stop. when i bring friends along it is a must!!! we just plain love flo's!!!

not that great~instead just go up the street to easton's beach. flo's is in a nice location but the prices are too high and the food is really greasy. you can go right up the street to easton's beach snack bar and get a much better meal and a deal, expecially with the twin lobster rolls~~ much better than flo's and the price can't be beat at just $10.99.

sea food done right. flo's better be open next time we visit ri. it is funny how we hit town and found ourselves in-line trying to make up our minds as to what we want. we want it all! i will say that the fishermens platter could have fed 2 with ease. the sea scallops were the best i and my wife have ever had. we will be back........keep an eye out for us!

good chowder. flo's is a bit pricey considering it's pretty "downscale", but if you're in newport and are going to have your seafood fried, then this is the place to go.

had high hopes but ended up with some of the least empressive, and "tourist priced", clams i've ever had. this was coupled with no parking... long wait... and no table service...

do not miss this newport staple. stellar lobster roll served with crunchy slaw and crisp fries. i wasn't overly impressed with the chowda.. but i prefer a thicker variety.
