all i can say it's one of the most luxurious restaurant.
one thing i was planning to use discount voucher but they shocked me it's not valid for sea food night so i paid the whole amount of money. one thing was strange to us that we paid for parking this my first time i had food and then pay for car parking.
for sea food lovers this is the place.

food selection was very limited, also the tastes except the salads was just average.

greta: live counters for bbq were up-to the m,ark and in fact the bbq and salads were the only items meeting the expected standard.

flavours is magnificently decorated in a traditional arabic style. offering very soothing vibes, it gives you a sense of calm as you break your fast and feed your soul. the dim gold lighting gave it a more warm feel. the interiors and the decor was so beautiful and chic. flavours restaurant at sheraton abu dhabi welcomes you with an exceptional set up of dry fruits that includes various types of dates, figs, apricots, raisins, and more.

was there due to my stay at the resort. while the buffet breakfast was an excellent selection, the service and table setting was below average. as my husband was ill and preferred to have room service, i dined alone with my toddler.
the scenario, mum trying to juggle stroller, toddler and buffet. on arrival, we were seated and the waitress/receptionist offered me a cappuccino and orange juice. after rushing to get food from the buffet, i waited patiently for my coffee and juice which never arrived, i then asked a waiter for help, he looked annoyed to say the least! feeling uncomfortable to even ask for more assistance, i looked at the queue for an omelette for my toddler and it went on forever, so i looked for a manager, no one in sight. i eventually was led back to the same waiter who i placed an order with. when my omelette arrived there was no salt, i got up to look for salt which i couldn't find. i looked for butter for my toast on the table - non existent. looked for a teaspoon - non existent. i eventually left feeling frustrated and hungry. such a disappointment for a luxury hotel!

went for iftar buffet, i paid 174 aed for cold tom yum soup, mixed leaves tasted dirty (not washed), tabouleh tasted weird (as if it was old), and goes on. very disappointed specifically for the price. i have to say the service was good though, but the buffet was too bad so can't give higher than 1.

sheraton is easy to find but parking is hectic. don't even dare to try the valet as they park your car wherever they can. even if there is mawaquif parking, they are all taken and you need to be ready to walk for a quite long distance under the heat.
the hotel is a bit small compared to other in abu dhabi but it is okay.
the staff is not the most friendly in town but is still correct.
unfortunately they let people smoke indoor in a designated area. a very bad idea.
there is a live band playing on stage. but as the restaurant is small, it is very noisy. so you need to shout when you talk to your neighbor.
the food is good. not a lot of choice compared to other restaurants who also offered friday brunch in abu dhabi.
my conclusion is: staff is okay. food is okay. poor selection though. place is noisy. they should not allow people to smoke inside because there are families and kids.
will i recommend it? why not, but you are already aware that it is not one of the best in town.

tried thier iftar buffet , there wasnt a veriaty in food and starters comparing to thier expensive prices , and whats soo bad is that thier taboulah was not fresh and dirty as i believe sand was in it because they did not wash parsley properly ...this is not acceptable ...

it is not good restaurant to go for dinner or lunch, it is so expensive and hardly people or crowded u can see, taste was not good, i will not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant

actually, especially if you’re a five-star hotel – and double-especially if you’ve been the capital’s center of hospitality since 1979!. there’s a risk of going overboard with glitz – clearly, gigantic ice sculptures, peacock feather arrangements, and faux gold all over the place is a mistaken avenue, yet one that so many top hotels head down in their efforts to impress.

we booked half board in @sheraton abu dhabi hotel.. we had dinner but it wasn’t self service buffet due to covid safety(understandable) however the buffet table was not even half or a quarter...very less options of food, chicken and beef was soo dry and seems like it was from the brunch.. as on their site monday was reinvented asian buffet ranging from japan to china.. where is it flavours restaurant??? food was sooo meh🤢🤭

i may say that this restaurant was one of my favorite before as we always visit here whenever we’re in abu dhabi, but im not sure if they switched owners or chefs was no longer available or should i say tired???

after a rough day at work i went went with my friends for dinner and we choose flavours. the menu is very limited, nice hospitality; i ate the burger which was tasteful different than the regular burger. i took the tenderloin steak 500 and was really juicy. the only thing i didn’t like was there was not too much sides

loved their breakfast buffet spread during our stay at sheraton. the fact that they are following all possible safety measures while serving buffet is just amazing!

we have been there today with my family after long thinking where to dine this weekend, i contacted the restaurant manager and he confirmed that they have sea food, japanese section, arabic and indian (am sure am not making this up!) so i trusted the brand (sheraton) and the amazing photos of dishes and food they have here on dubizzle and decided to give them a try, there was no live cooking station, no beef, no chicken and for damn sure nothing of what those pictures are showing here on dubizzle ! i was really surprised so decided to try what they already got to offer, they had a cheese station, breads (decent), choices of saladas and vine leaves (tasted great) but unfortunately their salads were pathetic to say the least and looked unappetizing ! i tried their coleslaw and it tasted absolutely awful, not sure why you need to reinvent a simple all-time favorite coleslaw, in my book this is just stupidity and pure nonsense, their coleslaw tasted fishy and that was disgusting to say the least ! so out of their geographically scattered small salad selections, i only liked their vine leaves (tasted absolutely lovely) and nothing else ! i have been to sofitel and while it wasn't all that good with main dishes in one of my reviews their salads selection was enormous, colorful and delicious !...

moving on to the main dishes (where all the charm is supposed to happen !), i wasn't really thrilled by the choices they had to offer, and i had some flash backs of the appetizers i've seen here in photos, they were offering only cheese fatayer, and if you are coming from a middle eastern background you should know that this is the least common choice of fatayer and not so tasty, even the kid wont have it !, but of course many can disagree just to disagree ! there were no meat pastries, no kebbah and no seafood (none!), am not really found of seafood, but speaking to that person the other day on phone promising there will be at least multicultural choices of food and wishing to try the lobster made me really encouraged, then shortly... discouraged and let down !

other main dishes choices were, cheese spinach casserole which tasted ok, noodles, tasted fine, meat cubes which tasted fine but i couldn't complete it simply because it was fatty, their chicken tasted nothing like chicken and after continuous disappointments by their meats i decided to pass on the fish and just move on !

they had sweet potato which i really had a lot of these due to the lack of selections they didn't have ! steamed white rice (go figure!) two veggies main dishes (probably to cut down the cost) and khaliji authentic kabsa (yellow saffron rice with small meat cubes) the last dish can be bought for 20 aed from al tazaa so again not sure what it was doing in sheraton !...

moving on to their sweets, they had small cakes, and the huge bummer for my sister (and to me honestly) they had no umm-ali (and authentic egyptian sweet found literally everywhere) ! blueberry cakes tasted amazing, peccan cakes came as a life savor and brownies which tasted like, well, something else not sure what to name it !

in conclusion, the place brought back memories when i used to go there as a kid, and we really liked the atmosphere, they had a kids play area which is something nice, but you would expect something with the name on it to have a decent selection of food, and a manager that won't lie ! i was even surprised by the amount of huge bags of spices (cinnamon sticks, black pepper etc...) where you would usually find in a traditional market not in the sheraton, not sure if it was for decoration or for human consumption, but i was really pissed they put these between the food and forgot about the food itself !

used groupon voucher . dinner for 7 + children.
the ambiance is nice . has a kids play area which my kids loved it. i was surprised about it.

staff are very friendly excluding the restaurant reception staff , booking was done through phone, it was very obvious and very embarrassing in front of my guests her facial expressions and forsing smile. we had voucher for the kids too but she wasn't happy.

food wise:
food was good in general , appetizers were up to my expectations, not that much successful moroccan dishes, kids had only smiles fries choice. even pasta wasn't one of their choice .

the most i loved is the stuffed vine leaves, coffee was available although it wasn't breakfast time.

an excellent place to unwind with the family. the restaurant is nicely located one level above the lobby, it has a small children area as well. the overall buffet spread was nice. the live cooking for grills was excellent and the service staff good as well. all in all a very good experience.
