the food was amazing, fulfilling and worth the price. its a little place pf the side street not too noticeable but 100% my favorite place to eat vietnamese cuisine in wellington!

amazing. best rare beef pho in town - pad thai is pretty good too. good prices too. quick and easy. consistently good. place isn't flash but everything else is top marks.

the chef recycle leftover salad from the other customers onto my pancake. :-(. pho is full of msg. i was so thirsty after i ate the noodle soup.

a bowl of deliciousness! the broth of their pho taste amazing. very authentic vietnamese pho from this hidden and simple shop.
tried the fish and chips as well but dissapointed with the quality : chips that left cold then being fried again when we ordered so $5 price tag didnt deliver the standard.
we will definitely come back for the pho!

been here a couple of times for the rare beef pho... its good. very nice compared to the others on this side of town. good depth of flavour and good fresh sides of beans, coriander and sauces. would happily return.

i have been here before. i love the food beef patthai and spicy beef soup .it was kind of delicious. i will come back again and taste other food.😋👍🏻

pho masters! have tried several others around welly and none even come close. flavour is like none other and price...$12, dam cheap!

we also ordered a mixture of seafood. which was ok ~ish..a little too greasy. still the fish fillet was great tasting. combination fried rice is also recommended.

a colleague recommended here for lunch. i checked reviews and they were great. plus they get a 4.2. wow! i was pretty excited about it. i wasn't sure what to order but settled on the chicken pad thai. to go!

took 10 mins. large portion... and it was awful. it was very stodgy and congealed in places. lacked flavour. it was just a sloppy mass of noodles. i gave up on it but it left me feeling off all day. it was $13.50 so i expected much better.

i was so disappointed. really!

given the reviews i can only presume this was an off day. their pho gets great reviews. i would actually like to go back and try it. but on this occasion... fail!

best pho i've ever tasted in new zealand ❤️ i'm a stickler when it comes to vietnamese cuisine because of my upbringing. most vietnamese restaurants i've been to in auckland are vietnamese fusion, or if not, they all adjust the taste of their food to the palates of kiwis. so when one of my friend told me about fisherman's plate and their authenticity, i had to check it out. during the time i've spent in wellington, i ate here every day because they brought me a taste so close to home ❤️

the place is just tiny normal-looking store, but packed with good flavour and smelled great. i ordered my favourite rare beef pho, and when it came out i was in awe. the colour and the aroma was amazing. it came with a side plate of bean sprouts, lettuce and lemon. as a vietnamese northerner, i don't have bean sprouts, onion and hoisin sauce with my pho. the broth was clear and tasted incredible as it should be. i really took my time enjoying it.

if you are in wellington and crave authentic vietnamese food, please visit this place and order their pho. a must-have 👍🏼 can't wait to go back again on my next holiday.

this was the worst fish and chips i've ever had. not only was it overpriced the chips were burnt, the scoop size was tiny and the fish was overcooked! the potato fritters were all batter and no potatoes. we went here because it was closer than the other fish and chips shops but you'd honestly be better going to maccas than getting fish and chips from here.
furthermore the chefs handled all the food with their bare hands, there seemed to be no good hygiene practices.

the food was amazing! soup was super flavourful and the portion size is huge. value for money but also tastes great!

best pho i've had in nz. come to akl so hansan can shut down, they need to learn that you can have european servers but still have excellent vietnamese. only thing was girl got our order half wrong and there was a wait cause probs low on back of house... worth the wait

the spicy beef noodle soup is what i usually order, it’s very tasty with nice flavor and the portions are good for the price. quite fast service too!

i was slightly surprised to see the place as it looked like an ordinary fish and chips shop that also sells vietnamese food.

but... the ambience does not make the food delicious because it was, hands down, one of the best vietnamese feeds i have had. the fish sauce was just exquisite and works very well with whatever meat or veges you chuck in with it. the only criticism i would give is the meat to carbohydrate ratio. so much noodles or rice compared to the meat. it tends to happen with vietnamese cuisine. as a satisfied customer, i would definitely bring my family here next time.

p.s. a little music wouldn’t hurt. ^^
