best fish and chips in nelson crispy batter on fish you can hear the crunch and chips are amazing love this place, its really really yumbo at the top it has 25bucks for 2 thats just not true good feed for 2 within 15

fish stop was open on anniversary day holiday so came in for some classic fish and chips after a busy day of driving. we ordered potato fritters, battered fish, chips and i ordered a battered sausage for myself.

serve was huge and wrapped in newspaper. potato fritters were a little oily and the same could be said for the fish. the battered precooked sausage was a giant and i loved it. the chips were covered in chicken salt and were also nice.

overall not the best fish and chips i’ve had but also not the worst... just average

good food and great value for money. fish and chips for $5! i go quite often and it never disappoints. :) glad i found this place and so close as well.

bang for your buck... typical nz cuisine... cheap and delicious!!! worth every penny!!! located right next to nmit.. quick service... quick food...

this place is very close to my college , and i must say it serves amazing fish and chips fresh soft and tender , nice and crispy batter amazing taste . very friendly staff .
recommended !

okay, so i had to cross town on foot to get there and back, so i was hoping it was going to be worth it! well, after getting home and sitting down with my meal, i tried everything. ill start with the bad: the potato fritters werent cooked. they were raw in the middle, raw potato isnt amazing. the hot dog wasnt amazing. the chips though, were crunchy! and the fish was nice.

all and all the food was a tad too greasy, but i thoroughly enjoyed my meal :d

the jam pop was amazing too! i give it a 4/5!
