fun, tasty, fish joint!. by far the best fried oyster po'boy i've had in northern virginia in years... come to think of it - it probably ranks top 10 of what i've had even in the deep south and la! really! just the right amount of breading, oysters were tender and juicy and just the right kind of bread to fully compliment the package! overall from the dishes around the table - i'm going back. fun, big, low-key and casual... plus great food!

came cautiously as the reviews weren't great. stayed away from items others disliked ordered fish and chips and was pleasantly surprises. it was far from the best but it was good. the portion was generous. a bit greasy but not in a bad way fries and coleslaw were ok.

service was excellent, unfortunately unmatched by the quality of the food.

great seafood & good all-around bat food. the happy hour prices are great, but be warned when thr clock strikes 7:00.

don't order the clam chowder or the salmon. the chowder tasted like chicken noodle soup and the salmon was dry and didn't taste fresh. the server was nice!

the seafood at fish market was reasonably priced and really fresh.

not fancy - - just good seafood. i enjoyed the seafood stew and seafood cob salad. ample portions (try a schooner of draft beer!), fresh and well prepared, at a very fair price. plenty of seating, friendly service, nothing fancy here but can't-miss seafood in a family-friendly atmosphere.

great food! i was super pleased with the scallops and lobster! the live music was a little loud but good.

the clan chowder was celery and potato soup with clams. the clam strips were huge and tough. the fish and chips weren't very fresh. over rated.

spiced shrimp is great. service is the absolute pits.

terrible. met some friends monday night. we wanted to watch the us open finals but it was delayed for rain. football started well before so we watched that. everything was fine except 2 minor things that mostly went un-noticed until later: the bartender vanished for about 10 minutes from 645-655 (happy hour ends at 7) and when i finally ordered my last bee the bartender sai over his shoulder something like "yeah. yeah. buddy." but with some hint of attitude. my friend and i noticed at the time but it was no big deal since we were there and having a few beers. things started going bad when the tennis match went back on and we asked to put it on a tv (bar wasn't too crowded at this point). he put it on a little monitor that was up high and when views from a bar stool looked like a photo negative. we watched most of the match anyway like that but eventually, when no one was really left in the place, asked to put it on a bigger tv. he moved us into the corner to watch where he came back once in 30 minutes to check on us. at this point, i had a swallow of beer left and the new gass he brought was really heady and a bad poor. when it settled i brought it to him and asked for a top off and he was a total jerk about it. no top off. there were words and we left. it was a bad experience largely because of the bartender. i won't go back. ever.
