was heard a lot about this place and so visited today, but it was really very disappointing.
most of the things was not available. worst was prawns gheerost - pathetic.
they took our order and after 15 min they said it’s not available.
one star is also too much for this place

with good masala taste served in banana leaf. the dry prawn chutney was simply awesome. but sadly pomfret that we ordered was not cooked properly and bit expensive compared to other such hotels

i heard about this place when i was in mumbai, was very eager to visit this outlet, food was awesome what ever i order was excellent, fishes and calamari, i wanted to taste prawns ghee roast, but was out of stock.. and biryani rice... may be next time i can visit again, staff s are friendly and polite....
i would surely recommend to my other friends...

no salt and spiciness .food is just bland. seafood was fresh but needs lot of improvement in taste. biryani was bland no salt. squid chilli was good but little burnt.

in prawns ghee roast salt was too less .. prawns was bitter in taste
in sukma too much masala and garlic less prawns.. prawns were bitter in taste .. not fresh
in biryani chicken was not cooked properly and was not at all juicy

one of the best hotel in udupi to taste the sea food.. i say this since they don't compromise with the health concern of clients along with the yummy taste. the sea foods are very fresh here, since i've tasted the fish in different hotels i can experience the freshness here..

fish factory is located at guruprasad complex, behind alankar theatre. i saw many good reviews about this place and heard a lot about their sea food. we ordered silverfish naked fry, bangude tawa fry, anjal biryani and buttermilk. i really loved that fresh and spicy bangude tawa fry. whereas silverfish naked fry was not that spicy but mind blowing, you can feel the taste of that batter. anjal biryani was not upto the mark, i felt that fish piece was bland. they should fry it before adding it to biryani. other than that food was great and service was quick. they serve chilled buttermilk in matka which is very refreshing. don't expect any classy ambience because they literally covered the terrace and turned it into restaurant.

i just absolutely love this place! it’s situated on the roof top but the climb to get here is totally worth it. you get to taste the best of coastal cuisine. they serve the best and freshest catch. they also serve some of the traditional, long forgotten items.
the service is friendly and prompt.
the prices are very reasonable.
overall, it is one of a kind restaurant and must visit if you are in udupi.

loved the staff service and their cooperation towards customers. they were really kind

lets talk about food 🍲
it was delicious. i mean it..
we ordered fish meal and squid sukka and disco fry and bangude masala
masala was mixture of sour and tangy, it was tasty.

and the surprisingly it was saturday.
and only during saturday's they give you complimentary payasam (sweet). that was really nice..
ambience is normal.
do try it here you will love it..
