lasagna was divine. we also ordered a pizza. their pizza has big thick slices. we had lots left over. would go back for sure.

i remember loving the pizza here back in the 80's. when my husband & i arrived this afternoon (2:45pm) we waited in line for about 15 minutes, tempted by the yummy smells before getting seated in a nice spot. pizza looked like i remembered it but hubby was in the mood for lasagna. portions are substantial, flavor lacked depth. in other words, it was good basic italian food at a fair price. 3 out of 5 stars. service was on the ball and came with a smile.

long line but worth the wait. yes, the first time i went, i thought why am i waiting in line for pizza! once i got it i was hooked! that was five years ago, everytime i am in sd i have to go to li to get into the grotto, you should do the same!

~cd~. insanely good. thats all you need to know. went here with paul on our way to the 311 show in chula vista. there are a ton of italian restaurants in this little area. this one was amazing. prices are very reasonable. they have house wine. lighting is a a little low inside. i have raviolis, lasagna and a meatball for $8.50! wasnt the biggest fan of the meat raviolis, but the lasagna was incredible. so was the meatball. would 100% go back there and bring pop.

imagine good italian food. this wasn't it. the worst pizzeria in the middle of the south bronx couldn't even imagine serving this up.

lovely traditional italian!!!. everything about this screams italian that we remember as kids...red check tablecloths, chianti, hanging meats...lovely. really good food, great prices!

doughy pizza, unimaginative dishes. garlic is not a substitute for good cooking. not expensive yet still not worth it.
