went to the fed a few weeks ago for a birthday celebration after having not gone in years due to poor service and food previously.
dinner took approx 1-1.5hrs to come out for our group of 16, with varying times of delivery and with starters in some cases arriving after the meals were finished. my partner and i ordered the special steak which came out cooked raw to well over the piece, very inconsistent. chips were good....salad was limp and undressed. the dip platter consisted of some kind of stir fry sauce, thousand island and a capsicum dip with minimal bread. very strange altogether.
if you are after a classic pub to have a beer play pokies and eat hot chips this would probably be it, but don't expect much else. understand that we were a large group but we did book so it was not a surprise we were coming in.
