this is a good place with a good burger. they have a better than average selection of toppings, and they're one of the only places in nashville that has fried chicken liver on the menu. prices aren't cheap, but it does seem that the food is of an accordingly high quality with the cost. the burgers are, well, good. it's hard to truly impress with a burger without getting more creative with it, but as far as having seemingly high quality ingredients, good topping selection, and not having a ridiculous two hour wait, this place is better than most of its local chic-burger competitors.

another "gourmet" burger place, this one featuring grass fed beef.  located next to the new double dogs in the west side, farm is in the corner of a new mixed use building.  it has a high ceiling industrial look with opening garage doors and outdoor seating to supplement the indoor area.  the look is oozing hip, to the point i think they're trying too hard.  but, since they are a small chain with locations in san francisco and asheville, nc, that's kind of to be expected.  you order at the counter and they bring your food.  a bar is in the back and they feature lots of craft beers.  sodas are by can.  so, how's the burger?  like most in this category, pretty good.  cracking into double digit dollars for a burger, you might be surprised to see this one is a little smaller than most of the competition in this price category.  but, it is moist and has good beef flavor.  fries are hand cut and good.  sweet potato fries have a full rich flavor.  house made pickles are a nice touch. over all, farm is fine, but for this type of burger and fries, i prefer ground in brentwood.
