it was a very nice plate of shawarma. the tabbouleh was light and fresh with an excellent amount of lemon and not too many onions.

really appreciated the care and friendliness with which i was served. i have celiac and must have gluten free food. for $8.99 plus tax, i got the hot plate special of rice and schwarma (turkey and lamb). i added 3 falafel for a dollar and ended up with more food than i could eat! but it sure was tasty! the entrance is small and we wait in line for service...a small price to pay for the care and friendly service we get when it's our turn.

the gyros here are pretty good, but they're known for their deep fried falafel balls. which aren't bad as a wrap or on their own. the service is a little inconsistent and the gyros are dressed differently between days depending on who's working. also, skip the baklava at the end, not worth it.

excellent shawarma & falafel - made cheap! i can see this place turning into a favorite for me soon! i wish their greek salad was more moderately priced, given the portion and the contents.

soggy, cold shawarma wrap. this place needs to put their wraps in a panini press and they would be a lot better. the wrap i got was very wet and the filling was cold. it was definitely not worth the price.

nice guy, but not nice eats. i’m not asking for the sandwich to be piping hot, but it wasn’t even lukewarm

mmmmmm. the chicken shawarma plate is what i opt for. it is well stacked with the oh so good shredded chicken on rice doused in sauces, it had a healthy helping of tabbouleh on the side, the citrus kick to it was nice, it also came with some hummus and some pita. i must say it was good, i enjoyed it thoroughly.

ehhhhhh. i figured it out why people don't come to this place. there's no one inside, the service was bad. worse of all the shawarma was old and gross!!! the price of the shawarma place is $10!!! i didn't want to throw the food away, so i just gave it to the homeless person next block.
i do not recommend this place at all.

very disappointed.

greens. the girl taking our order had a tough time with understanding the people placing the order. that being said, it was a challenge for many in order to ask questions about the menu. food is great and even though the facility is older, it was clean.

delicious shawerma. i went to falafel maison for the second time last night after watching the canucks game at the commodore. i was craving middle eastern food and it was either going to be this place or aladdins, and fm had the nicer sit down atmosphere of the two (though still far from good, it's very small inside). i ordered a chicken shawerma plate that comes with hummus, a heaping portion of chicken, rice and bread. just a warning for picky types, it also comes with a lot of diced parsley drizzled in lemon juice -- i love it, but it may not be for everybody.

they ask if you want hot sauce over top, and if you can at all handle a little bit of spice i'd recommend saying yes. it's delicious. the price is standard for this type of fare: just under $10 taxes in for the chicken plate. as i mentioned the restaurant is very small with only three or four little round tables with bar stools right in front of the front counter where you can sit. but you obviously don't come here for the ambiance, but for the food. they have a lot of other things on the menu as well such as wraps and sandwiches, but i love my rice plates. mmm i'm getting hungry as i write this.
