i tried esmer again during the new year holiday. i was a little disappointed. the place is still pleasant with friendly staff no matter how crowded. this time we only ordered the tortellini funghi pasta and pepperoni pizza. the cream was a bit salty for me, but overall the pasta tasted good. as for the pizza, i still love the crust. but the pepperoni was unappetizing.

during my five day stay in istanbul, i ate at esmer 4 times. basically it was the only place i tried there where everything was as i hoped. friendly staff, delicious food, cozy place , and really good prices.
lazanya bolognese and ravioli spinach aretodie for. mexica pizza was flavorsome. i tried the desserts as well (tiramisu, creme brulee and cheese cake). they were equally tasteful. one platter i wasn't a fan of was the chicken panzerotti. the crust was a bit too dry for me. however this restaurant was one of the highlights of my stay. recommended.

cozzy italian restaurant in istiklal,taksim. the staff were friendly and helpful they adviced ustotry good plates of theirs, the food was good! i personally loved their fettuccine con pollo, it's a must try!

cozy and nice, id travel the world justtocome here. the portion is very well selected, the mood and the music are very chill. the waiters are very nice and speak english unlike some other restaurants.

best placetoeat pasta for pasta lovers.
i visited the place twice in 2 days.
the tricolor tortellini istodie for, salads are refreshing. huge portions and very good pricing. you needtowait a little bittofind a seat but it is worth it. i tried tricolor tortellini and fettuccine alfredo they are amazing. pesto ravioli is an amazing choice.
fries are so good you will not stop eating.
great staff and they are so friendly. a must try place.

its a loss for everyone who visited istiklal street and haven't tried this place

food looks good, but the service was non-existent.

went here for breakfast and coffee. we were seated outside, and we sat and waited for someonetocometoustotake our order. we were movedtoanother seat 5 minutes later, and ignored for another 10 minutes. i don't actually know if it's self service or notbin the morning - but they had a waiter who spoke english and he made no initiativetoexplain the concept or give us a menu.


so far this has been my worst experience in istanbul ever. we left after sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for someonetocome uptous and chose another placetospend our time in.

located in the middle of taksim, it is a small restaurant which seemedtobe always packed especially that during july there are a lot of tourists. we were luckytofind a table.
we went the following:
- iskender kebab pizza: i am glad i took the risk with this pizza, it was deliciouss!! loved the doner pieces with yogurt in my pizza
- seadfood pasta: it was very very rich in seafood items, however, the pasta itself should have been cooked for longer.
if you are in taksim make sure you stop by!

a place in the middle of istiklal street. tasty food, loved their caesar pizza and pasta, but the place tendstoget overcrowded and the service slows down. prices are fair.

brilliant placetohang out with your frinds or your couple. came here for late and light dinner with my wife and ordered some seafood dishes follwed by dessert and coffee. everey thing was cooked and prepared carefully with a bery good taste and portions. very reasonable and affordable prices. lovely ambiance and atmosphere and prof staff, but very busy and no time for smile, but it was fine.

catchy restaurant in taksim square where a live cooking pasta station makes you drool.

this place is a gem serving tasty international dishes with good portion and quality vs price. the service is exquisite. high fivetomohammad for the best service during my multiple visits. pasta, burgers, pizzas, chicken, meat you name it.

definitely do not miss it in taksim.

it was one of the most amazing food i have ever taste.. i ordered pasta with salmon and it was incredibly good from the saucetothe flaky fish and the fresh mushroom. and the pasta was cooked perfectly.
then i ordered tiramisu and the taste was heavenly.. the portion was huge and the prices are so reasonable.
the waiters were nice and with a smile on their faces all the time. i'll definitely be coming back soon! :d
