esmer cafe

we discovered this gem on the last day of my trip while walking down istiklal street. this rather small place was actually crowded with both tourists and locals and after having the food i could see why! the vintage decor and hanged pictures gave the place a great ambiance. we tried the crispy chicken and the grilled chicken platters and they were both really yummy. the food is very well priced and service prompt. if you're ever shopping in istiklal and feel hungry, this is the place to try!

we needed some change from turkish food and we come across esmer cafe while walking towards our hotel near taksim. we could see a chef making fresh pasta from scratch through the glass door and it tempted us to visit it!
the first thing we did after entering the cafe was to check the prices as we were on a tight budget. voila! we came to the right place. this cafe is quite pocket friendly taking into consideration the ambience, quality and quantity of the food they serve. they serve fresh hand made pasta and pizza!
we ordered-
spinach fettuccine pasta with basil cream sauce and parmesan cheese - 4.5/5...very delicious

tavuk izgara chicken- 3.5/5... though the chicken was nicely grilled and tender, we found it bland. we loved the french fries served with it. they were perfectly crispy and well seasoned.

if you are looking for some pocket friendly food options on taksim, esmer cafe would be your best bet and a good change from turkish cuisine.

it was the first time to try the place . i loved it so much . the food is delicious the waiters are friendly . nice choice of cuisines. so much to choose from

this small italian cafe in taksim street is the perfect place for a pasta and pizza. pasta is cooked perfectly the sauce is heavenly and the pizza just melts in your mouth. staff is friendly too but lacking languages (noting that lots of tourists come to this place) i highly recommend it.

kahvaltı için arkadaşımla gittim . sahanda yumurta buz gibi geldi , lezzet vasattı .sabah 10 da garsonlar daha uyanmamış gibiydi , ilgileri kötüydü ve mekan aşırı ruhsuzdu .hiç memnun kalmadık .

tavuk menüsünde yer alan tavuklar iyi pişmiş fakat sulu değillerdi. ancak çalışan arkadaşlar çok istekli ve hızlılar. taksimde bu yoğunlukta bunlar makul karşılanabilir ancak panzerottiyi denemeyin, gereksiz

taksimin güzel bir köşesine konunlanmış pizzalarıyla ve makarnalarıyla ün salmış bir mekan. uzun süre kararsız kalıp udon shrimp (japon eriştesi) sipariş ettim gayet güzeldi, sos kombinasyonu özellikle karidese ayrı bir lezzet katmış. çalışanlar çok ilgili ve servisleri çok hızlı. bizimle erkan bey ilgilendi, sağolsun böyle çalışanlar oldukça burası favorim. bir sonraki gelişimde pizzaları deneyeceğim. fiyatlar biraz daha düşük olabilirdi puanı oradan kırdım:)

menüde kızarmış mantı olarak geçen şeyin mantıdan başka herşeye benzemesi üzücü.üstelik menüde ne içerik yazıyor ne de garson bu konuda bilgilendirme yapıyor. beğenmediğimizi dile getirmemiz ve iade etmemize rağmen ödemesi alınıyor.rezalet

i̇stikala caddesi'nde konum olarak çok görünür bir yerde bulunuyor. mekanda spaghetti carbonara ve lazanya tatma fırsatı buldum. makarnaya diyecek bir şey bulamadım. lezzetli ve hafif. lazanya ise çok sıcak geliyor. tat olarak da umduğumu bulamadım. salça(domateste olabilir) sosu biraz farklı geldi. ücret konusunda da bir hayli pahalı geldi bana. özellikle tattığım makarna o ücreti hak etmiyor. bu konuda sınıfında biraz pahalı. mekanın içi, dekorasyonu 10/8

i̇stiklal'de dolaşmaya geldiğimde uğramayı sevdiğim bir mekan. pizzaları ve makarnalarının ekstra lezzetli olduğunu düşünüyorum. benim favorim mısırsız tom balıklı pizza. hamuru diğer pizzacılara göre çok ince ve bol malzemeli. çalışanların ilgisinin de gayet yerinde olduğunu düşünüyorum.

bazen ketçap, mayonez gibi ekstra bi şeyler istediğinizde bunu ikinci kere hatırlatmak zorunda kalabiliyorsunuz. aklıma gelen geliştirilmesi gereken nokta bu.

mekan çok güzel.çalışanları çok ilgili ve nazik.özellikle şefi fazlasıyla ilgili ve hem içerisiyle hemde dışarısıyla fazlasıyla ilgili çok memnun kaldık.tavuk ızgara sipariş ettik geliş süresi gayet iyiydi sunumuda öyle.ellerine sağlık ??

??servis hızı gayet iyi. yemekler de fiyat performans olarak gayet dengeli. öğlen yemeği için gittik, pişman olmadan çıktık. menüde %10 servis ücreti eklenir demesine rağmen eklememişlerdi. ☺️ bunun verdiği mutlulukla biz de kendimiz bahşişimizi verip çıktık.
??fast service prices and performance are balanced well. we went there for lunch and we didn't regret.
