i have to say this place really was not that good. ordered 3 different slices and all lacked any sort of flavor. i can't believe this place has a 3.9 rating. it must be the drunk palate rating it. even though this has meat toppings, this place doesn't hold a candle to pizzeoli. i want to mention though that the staff was very friendly. however, i only rate restaurants by the quality of the food and nothing else.

best pizza ever - hands down. i was taken by a friend to international tap room next door and he ordered a supreme pizza from epic. they brought it over hot, and it was....fantastic.
the toppings were generous and ..... well, let me put it like this. i am 62. been a lot of places. but this is the best pizza ever. went there again the next saturday and ordered same thing......no different. fantastic....wonderful....outstanding..... five stars.

i popped in for lunch as i browsed soulard on a lazy warm wednesday. i orsered the lunch deal: 1 slice, soup/salad, and a drink. i chose the white pizza - buffalo mozzarella and ricotta with evoo. seriously fantastic!!

good pizza, epic wings. you have to order the wood-fired wings! so good! pizza crust is great, overall slice was good.

i love to walk around soulard market and find fresh ingredients for cooking. one of my tricks for not over-buying is to shop soulard while snacking on epic pizza’s garlic knots. pair them with a nice cold beer and you have a great way to spend part of your saturday.

some of the best pizza i have ever had. the staff was great. they made a mistake on our order and went above and beyond to make up for it! will be back very soon!

i was in town for a meeting and was looking for the best beer and food around. i was staying downtown and asked around, was sent to soulard neighborhood to itap and had a wide selection of beers with the best part being, right next door was some of the best burgers i have tasted. i had a single and ended up staying late night to have a slice for the road. i went back the next day before heading to the airport and grabbed a burger for the road.
