have been a few times and had an awsome experiance every time great food and outstanding service

i had a great time the staff were friendly and the food was fantastic as well as the gravy. i came all the way from norwood to two wells. i will definitely be returning.

can't complain about the service, as there wasn't any.  after arriving we were asked about drinks, this proved to be the last time we were asked. and we were prepared to buy another bottle of wine and soft drinks. 
my partners pasta was frozen ravioli from the supermarket with some sauce thrown over it that was suppose to be arrabiata or spicy. it was bland, when he said the sauce isnt right the waitress shrugged and went away and started sweeping the floor while we were still eating.
my meal was salt and pepper squid, it was thinly sliced and the coating was soggy, to say there were 10 thin strips on the plate is being kind. i had to ask for oil and balsamic dressing for the salad and i was overwhelmed by the undercooked shoestring chips which was the main item on the plate.

no one asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee but they probably didn't hear us over the din in the room.

an added extra were the flies that filled the room as the door didn't close behind people.

been here a few times visiting friends the wood oven pizza's a great and the meals are great and if your travelling further north or coming back it's definitely worth a look. the owner even let customise my meal

i have been there three times now and honestly it is the best food i  have ever had at any restaurant, the staff are great and friendly, love it..

food,service,price are all a1 we eat there at least once a week you want go wrong the steak is to die for. the steak is second to none

sensational cafe. we were a group of 15 ppl. there were 4 generations of italoaustralians sitting at this long table.the pasta dishes were very authentic. the servings were plentiful. ppl at our table that chose fish/chicken/meat dishes were impressed by flavour,freshness,size of their meals.service was impeccable.everybody got their meal on time, the value was amazing. it's almost impossible to go to a cafe and not have something to complain about, but somehow they made 15 ppl very very happy.thankyou

ive heard so much about the empire,good and bad..wow what a yummy place,all of our meals were amazing and the dessert pizzas even better..great service too..will definatly be back soon..

favourite place to eat!. if i get a choice, i always pick empire cafe over any other restaurants in the northern suburbs/area. the food is amazing, and staff have been great every time i have been there. awesome service and the menu and weekly specials are really good too!

the smell when you walk in is amazing. lovely ambience, and though we didn't have a booking, they bent over backwards to accommodate us, even when near capacity. lovely home cooked italian food. definitely the best the area has to offer!

often drop on here for a takeaway pizza on the way to the yorke peninsula on a friday night.
staff are friendly, pizza is usually made pretty quickly and they are excellent pizzas- highly recommend the antonio's special- the pizza base is really good!

poor service. we went to celebrate an uncle's birthday one night..and it turned out to be the worst experience we've ever had. when we got there we had to wait 10mins to get a menu. it took 1 and 30mins for the food we ordered to start coming,.. i also noticed a waitress just placing 2 menus on a table that wasn't cleaned yet..the 2 new customers who came to sit at the table had to quickly swipe away the crumbs that were on the table..it didn't look busy in the restaurant..but i guess they had a lot of take-away orders.. they should prioritise customers dining in rather than doing the "take -away" first.. they didn't even apologise... definitely never going back to this place!
