super positive. absolutely amazing food- will definitely go back regularly. the service was average but the food more than made up for that. the place was hopping with people, but no wait for a table on a friday night. some of the best mexican food i have had in town so far.

best mexican food hands down! honestly can order any dish on the menu and you will not be dissapointed!.....as far as the one bad review that you see on here i don't know what he's talking about and i'm sure everyone else doesn't either because all the other reviews are good so that just goes to show right there.

omg.... tonite was my husband and i's first time there, but we will definetly be back. we ordered the parillada. it was to die for. more meat than 2 people could ever finish. the marichi band was wonderful. my husband really enjoyed them. this will be our new "go to" place. awesome...

wow. this is by far the best mexican food i have had.
i will admit, however, that i have stuck to the shreaded beef tostadas since the first time i got there.
ive tasted their enchiladas---outstanding
their queso is so delicious. they serve it with tortillas and refried beans to make a delicious appetizer or meal .
the quac is chunky and delicious.

their shredded beef tosdatas will keep me coming back there as long as i am in milwaukee. they are delicious. the meat is juicy, flavorful, and just phenomenal.

my family's favorite. i have been going to el senorial for about 5 or 6 years now. i would say on average i go there at least once a month. my grandmother goes there every saturday. we go there for every family occasion such as birthdays and anniversaries. i personally just like the 3 taco dinner plate. i enjoy the rice and margaritas are great as well. when my grandfather was a live he always used to get caldo de cameroon which is a shrimp soup. this place is a great value for an authentic mexican restaurant!

best parilladas in town. everything on the menu is pretty good, but you don't need to mess with any of that. you should be coming for one thing and one thing only (apology to the vegetarians), the parilladas. it is a mountain of meat deliciousness. grab a group of friends, order some michiladas and get ready for the meat sweats. you will not be disappointed. i have eaten their parilladas at least 7 or 8 times and have never been less than thoroughly satisfied. plus, what you get for what you pay is ridiculous. one of the best deals around. also, their beans are great.

sazon por favor!!!!. just got home from senorial and i was not impressed. it has been a buzz for the last few years. la parillada is all the rage and finally my wife and i decided to try it out. well i must be honest, my wife can make better then this at home. the costillita(rib) is fine but not amazing. simple flavors with no real profile that i can say wow. if you see mexicans in their it is either because they like the atmosphere or they are just to lazy to cook it at home. lawry's would of added some personality to this plater that beign said i must say i was very disappointed. the staff was slow to greet us at the door and the worst of the worst was the salsa. it was poorly made and also no profile just hot?!?! the cilantro was very fresh and was just lumped on top of the platter. that is just lazy. the $1 soda can is a big $ maker for restaurant, it still baffles me why restaurants have gone the way of the can. it puts you on the same floor level as street food in our fair city.

none the less it is very authentic but then again i'm mexican and if i want authentic i could just eat at home. like i said the buzz made us try it......

always awesome. my family and i have eaten inside this restaurant and picked up our order dozens of times over the years. this is the best, most authentic, and reasonably priced spanish food establishment in milwaukee. you will enjoy every bite.

you know it's a good restaurant when.... here's my theory on how to pick a good ethnic restaurant. when you walk in, look around. if the place is frequented by the ethnic group of the restaurant, chances are you're in a good place. at any time, you can walk into el senorial and see the place packed with latinos. the beans, flavored with chorizo, are really good. i like the tampiquena- steak with grilled green onions, rice and beans. the milanesa is average- a bit thin for my taste but it's decent. the service is good and the margaritas are decent if you ask for anything but rail tequila (this holds true for any restaurant or bar).

overall, it's a good value. i just hope it doesn't get too popular and lose it's flavor.
