best pizza!. best pizza i've had in wny. great prices as well.

worth the cost?. edie's pizza is probably the best tasting pizza around hamburg, but it's definitely not worth the money. at one point, they had decent chicken wings, not comparable to duffs or the anchor bar, but they were satisfactory.
the staff is horrible at taking phone orders. over the many orders i have placed, they have given me chicken fingers instead of chicken finger pizza, with no offer to make it right, and delivered to the wrong apartment countless times....making my wait time over 2 hours for food...again with no offer to make it right. also, a total cost would be nice to have over the phone instead of always having to ask and get an "estimate." if you haven't noticed, their prices just went up, making it the most expensive pizza in hamburg. i had a friend tell me he bought 2 and 1/2 subs for some friends and it cost him $31 dine in.....crazy....here's a list of some of their price increases on menu specials:

large cheese & one topping pizza & 20 wings: was $25.99, now $28.99
large cheese & one topping pizza & 30 wings: was $30.99, now $34.99
large cheese & one topping pizza & 50 wings: was $36.99, now $40.99
sheet cheese & one topping pizza & 50 wings: was $46.99, now $51.99

so besides the $4 average increase on all of their prices, there are a few other things you may not have noticed that edie's has changed recently. their chicken wings are getting smaller and smaller (and at around $0.70 each there's not much meat on one of these little guys). they also started adding a new spice to their sauce (which i believe is cayenne) and has (in my opinion) negatively changed the flavor of their medium and hot wings. and like most pizzerias, being nickel and dimed for each extra mini blue cheese you want is a just another part of the whole process you have to deal with. you know it's bad when you like extra sauce on your chicken wings and you have to get on their case each time to put more on....and that's when some of the tweenager employees get downright rude. the last time i ordered med/hot wings at edie's, they came with no sauce, even though i asked for the wings to be smothered in it. i guess they must be rationing it?

while i can't give you a great local alternative to edie's pizza i can say this, my friends and family no longer order this food because of the big price increase. we felt it was not worth it and are willing to settle for picasso's or nino's pizza instead, at a much cheaper price. sometimes we even find it worth the 17 mile drive down to ellie's deli in silver creek to get a little slice of heaven at half the cost.

edie’s used to be a small operation right in the village of hamburg. they have since expanded to include a small eat in dining room – the place looks good. (many of hamburg’s pizzerias are take out only aside…

great find!. i'm a pizza lover, so i'm not sure how i just found edie's pizza. the pizza was wonderful! good sauce, good dough, not too much cheese. i'll definately be back. cute dining room. edie's you have a new regular customer!!

consistently amazing food and always a welcoming staff. a hamburg treasure and easily one of the best pizza places in western new york. if you haven't been there, you really should give them a try.

i just went here for the very first time even though i lived nearby for years. i ordered a small party antipasto. there was a small mixup with the order but the staff was apologetic and quickly fixed it.the salad is absolutely awesome! i didn't know it had jalapeno in it though but i also didn't ask. i love hot but unfortunately i am trying to pick them out. i definitely will be back to try more.

outstanding pizza. sep 21st while staying in a hamburg hotel, we ordered a large pizza from edies and had it delivered. what a great surprise....outstanding! we only put pepperoni and mushrooms on it, but with the cheese they used it was one of the best pizza's we had eating in years. the four of us could see why they were voted the best for the past three years. suggestion: when delivering to a hotel, take along a half dozen napkins for the customer. can't wait to return to the hamburg area for some more of edies pizza. great seeing people taking pride in their product. thanks!!

i am the owner of edie's pizza i am commenting on leslie's review. for anyone that would like to stop by and review our cameras this not what was said. as far as i the owner calling leslie a liar, this is also not true. i really have an issue with people being able to put false information on the internet. we have been in business for 13 years and have worked very hard to have the business we have. we would never tolerate an employee speaking to a customer in a rude manor. thank you lori edie

re-evatluate your employees!. i sent my 12yo in to get me a bottle of diet pepsi, where they charged her for a 2 liter, and gave her a 20oz. upon me going in to correct the change issue, i call told "maybe you shouldn't drink diet, you fat f**k". then, when i called, the manager repeatedly called me a liar, said i came in there swearing (could have been an honest mistake- now i'm not so sure), which i did not! i just wanted the correct change. they have lost my business, and i hope anyone elses that sees this post. unbelievable. rude service.

best pizza. you can hear that about a lot of places in buffalo, but this is my absolute favorite.

best pizza in the southtowns. nobody else really even comes close. the only negative is the price is a bit highp, which every once in a while is a fine thing, but if you are trying to feed your whole fmily you will end up paying around 50$.

consistent. edies is just dependable, consistently good food. i used to order there more frequently when i lived in hamburg, and never had a bad meal. the pizza good, the wings are very good and i loved their buffalo chicken sandwich!

great lunch specials, friendly staff and nice little dining room...go there at least twice a week for lunch
