everything was bad. 4.9 rating??? the kitchen had an absolutely horrendous night - a steak restaurant that cannot cook steaks and staff that couldn't care less.
our main complaints:
* steaks arrived bleu (raw), instead of med to med-rare (see photos)
* honey vegetable side was over cooked, dry and had no honey
* garden salad side was wilted, lacking ingredients and the dressing on the bottom (lazy! clearly prepared, wilted in the fridge and forgot to mix on service)
* the open lasagna was a pile of sauerkraut between dry biscuits... disappointed and nothing remotely like a lasagna
we politely asked the waitress to let the kitchen know that all our steaks were well undercooked. we weren't offered the option, but decided not to send it back as we don't mind rare - but they were so raw we just couldn't eat them, one of the girls took hers home and cooked it.
whilst disappointed in the look of the open lasagna, the description didn't mention meat, sauce or cheese so i got what i ordered... sauerkraut with grain sized beans. it was nice enough, but it's just a big pile of sauerkraut not a main.
the service staff are indifferent and the waitress was indignant but compliant with our request for a box to take one raw steak home. she stated that she had asked if anything was wrong and we should have told her... perhaps she forgot about our earlier request to let the kitchen know we were disappointed, we politely asked her again to ensure they received our feedback.
i only give bad reviews after providing the restaurant with the feedback and an opportunity to accommodate/apologies. the staff didn't care and it's unlikely they told the kitchen.
