we have been to eastzeast many times before but never thought to leave a review. however asif reminded us of the importance of it this evening! haha. we arrived, were seated promptly and served poppadoms with a tasty selection of chutney (much more than the standard four) to tuck into.

all four of us ordered mains with a mixture of naan, chapati and rice. the food, as always, was fantastic. my girlfriend's parents are ex-bradford residents and quite the curry connoisseurs, so the finishing statement of "that was one of the best curries i've ever had" is all you need to know.

service was attentive without being intrusive with asif and zeeshan the standouts (special mention to asif!) we were never without drinks or food with regular top ups of table water without request. these sound basic but are rarely found and much appreciated.

all in all, the food is brilliant, the service fantastic and the layout and decor of the restaurant gives eastzeast that extra special touch that is well worth the expenditure.

first visit to eastzeast at the riverside, for my daughters 18th birthday meal, the decor the reception the restaurant all are fantastic, great food fantastic portion sizes, waiters not at all pushy - very clean - the restrooms also very clean.

i would recommend eastzeast - if you are looking for a good restaurant that serves authentic food make this your next booking.

thanks again for a lovely evening and look forward to seeing you again

slightly difficult to locate, but it's situated strategically on the bank of local river irwell.
i'd not call it a river though!

nice food, great portions and decent ambiance. priced slightly higher than others in the vicinity.

not to be missed though! :)

pathatic. it is extremely pathetic. portion of food was so small and un-tasty. they charged 4.50 £ for 2 poppadum with few chatnis. so no value for money. prices are very high compare to food quality and taste

worst thing we all had bad stomach after having dinner there. so think few time before visiting this place. sorry this was for princess st branch

while the quality of the food is broadly the same, it is far less atmospheric. if you want to sample eastzeast’s  menu, i’d recommend their blackfriars street restaurant.

it has to be said that despite the mediocre food and the terrible service we still had a brilliant time! i'm not sure why everything went so badly for eastzeast on the night, i had heard such brilliant things, maybe they just struggle with larger tables. whatever the reason for the poor organisation there are never any excuses for poor service and so we won't be going back when there are so many other great restaurants in manchester who are putting the effort in.

definitely one to visit. great food, fresh tastes, and authentic currys. great chefs and good service. the waiters weren't too overwhelming and in your face and the service was good. a little pricey, so definitely somewhere for a special night out, but also worth it.
