worth a visit. we are 150 miles from lubbock and infrequent visitors. we have been to east moon twice and found it most enjoyable, menu is varied and the food is excellent. the mid-afternoon times we have been there the restaurant was nearly empty which made for prompt service.

east meets west with great lunch value. we have been dining here a lot lately and i have to say have only had good experiences. the steamed pork pot stickers are a delicious start. the sashimi lunch is very nicely presented and fresh comes with soup and salad. my new favorite for lunch is the general tso's chicken which includes fried rice, spring roll and salad. great value lunch prices with extensive menu to satisfy any asian hungry texan!

in love with east moon. i've always been a sucker for thai food but the mix of asian entrees is amazing. my favorite meal is the drunken noodles i've had a few different sushi rolls and have loved every one! ate here tonight and lived it as usual!

hmmm probably wont go back. it was ok. went on mother's day. my sushi roll (sexy roll) was only ok, only finished eating it because i was hungry. girlfriend ate thai peanut beef, daughter at shrimp in lobster sauce, and son-in-law ate teriaki salmon. house salad dressing is a cross between thousand island and peanut butter (amazingly, we really liked it!). salmon was perfect!!! thankfully they put the teriaki in a cup on the side. texture and taste of salmon were perfect!!!!!!! everything else was only ok. may try it again ... but being a sushi lover, i was very disappointed!

took group of 4 and ordered several options from their vast menu of sushi. we all really enjoyed it. service was very courteous and helpful. food fresh, well prepared and delicious.

wont give it a third try. to find out if its a charm. i've ordered in from east moon twice. and been sorely disappointed twice. the first time i ordered a standard beef and broccoli just to get a feel for the place. i found it bland, if a little salty. the fried rangoons were burnt. but as a foodie, i always try place twice. so last night i ordered again, this time the regular sushi and vegetable soup with fried rangoons and a salad. i asked for ranch dressing and got something peanutty, the rangoons contained enough salt to pickle my tongue, tonsils and esophagus. and the vegetable soup, turned out to be miso( i hate tofu). for nearly 30 bucks i would expect my food to be a) what i ordered and b) worth thirty bucks.

worse than a chinese buffet. i don't think i've ever had worse asian food. i've had better from a tv dinner. the place doesn't specialize in a particular genre of asian food, which is a definite warning sign. instead, it is americanized asian food smothered in sauces. i also found the service to be very strange, the entire time all the waiters were literally running from place to place. not once did our waitress look at us. the atmosphere was very unsettling. there is no redeeming factor about this place, the food is terrible, the portions are small, the price is too steep for the quality of the food, the service isn't great, and the atmosphere is very uncomfortable. i'm never coming here again. if you want delicious, authentic food then i suggest either seoul korean cuisine or saigon cafe.

gross chicken. the flavor was ok not spicy, chicken was slimy it was gross! veges were fresh though! huge let down..

i finally had time to go to east moon. had the sashimi lunch. i let the sushi chef pick the 9 pcs. a very good selection. the staff was excellent very friendly and i enjoyed the conversations.

the menu has a very good selection of good sushi and asian meals.

all in all, a very good place, the food was excellent as was the staff.

overall, a decent lunch. they had a special on sushi rolls and, since my husband’s not to keen on fish, figured i’d take advantage. the food was fresh, my order was out quickly, and my server met that balance of being polite without being super pushy.

ok ,they got their act together since the last time i've ordered from there. the food came under 28 minutes (yes i timed it) it was fresh hot and tastier than last time. i don't know if i caught them on a good night, but the experience was improvement enough to warrant a review

the restaurant has a great atmosphere. good service. the food wasn't our preference. salad looks and tasted like lettuce with peanut butter. sesame chicken is a little spicy. fried rice has a strong taste of peanut oil. sushi was sub par.

awful, the wait staff is rude, the food is unpleasant. had fried calamari and it tasted like fish sticks. the main food, drunken noodles and chicken tempura was bland and gross

i eat east moon at least once a week and am never disappointed! i love the sesame tofu and pad thai. it's a hidden gem for sushi as well! i often get the lunch sushi with soup and salad.

i love this place so much! the servers are always nice. the outside looks sketchy, but i promise you the inside is so wonderful! i usually get the general tso's chicken. it would be a great date night place. it's sorta pricey, but the plates are so full!
