the lobster roll is full of lobster and claw meat. sauce is light and flavorful. not a fan of the chips served with the sandwich as they are a little salty.

clam chowder is thick. soup is always hot. they have a beverage bar with ‘fill you own soda, or tea.’ refills are free.

breakfast sandwiches are great. almost any item can be a salad or sandwich.

though most of the menu is made up of various sandwiches, the franchise makes you feel you are in a restaurant offering a lot more.

sandwiches and homemade chips go great together. quick and friendly service.

prices are in line with its location.

recently i dropped in to east hampton sandwich co. to sample a few of their new season menu items. east hampton only uses meats that are purely brined, marinated + roasted. hence, their motto: #nomoredelimeat. from the hampton like interior + exterior, east hampton sandwich co. stands out no matter which of the six locations you pop into!

top tier sandwiches - very good. these sandwiches are really good, but let's start with the decor. the beach style chairs and wood slat tables out front give it a "hampton" feel as you walk up. inside is a simple design with faux woods and yellow accents making up the main components. the bar is fairly unique with blond wood and window pane glass. the food is pricey at $9-12 a sandwich, but you can tell they use top notch ingredients. we tried cuban and balsamic tenderloin. wow were they good. the cuban mixed sweet (brown sugar), hot spicy (mojo) & sour (pickle) all on a ciabatta roll. the tenderloin was outstanding. the cold beef was so tender and mixed well with the mild bleu cheese and balsamic glaze. the crispy onions added a unique flavor. the rosmary au jus sent the whole taste over the edge. great place, but pricey.

... i finally ordered the fried chicken+jack sandwich which consisted of southern fried chicken, pepper jack, greens, bacon, avocado mash, tomatoes, and a jalapeno cream sauce. the fried chicken breasts were pounded very thin and they had a crunchy batter that was seasoned well. although the chicken itself had a nice flavor, the sandwich was underwhelming in the flavor department.
