e bar tex-mex

place has been getting a lot of buzz for a while, and others in my family said it was great, so decided we had to give it a try. well, i'd say it's just okay. nothing was bad and the brisket tacos were yummy. nevertheless, nothing blew us away and they were out of avocados/guacamole, which is just weird. not quite the 5 star experience everyone else seems to be having. i still prefer rafa's and avila's.

e bar tex-mex food is so good people are always waiting in cars for them to open then everyone pile in to eat this delicious food. i called in take out fajitas when i arrived my food was ready and hot i was not

we got here early and didn’t have an issue getting a table but heard from the manger the wait time was an hour and a half last night from 6-11pm. you know the food is excellent when people will drive off the beaten path and wait that long for dinner. i got the carnitas tacos and they were perfection! as other reviewers have said, the service is the perfect blend of attentive but not pushy. we will definitely come back during our next trip to dallas.

this is the best in town. i have eaten in many tex mex and this soars to the top. try their grilled or fried jalapeños. also try jorge's tacos. get one of each-brisket really good!

i went here for lunch today and enjoyed it very much! the food and service was great. i had the ebar cheeseburger and it was good! i will definitely be coming back here!

so surprised that this place doesn't have more stars! it is seriously amazing! unique tex-mex that is different from all the rest. looks like a dive-bar but is not. cute outdoor seating area with protection from bugs. will bring al of our houseguests here! **has high chairs!

great tex mex. probably the best tex-mex i have had east of midland ,tx (where i am from and has tremendous tex-mex). 3 diners and all 3 loved their dishes!!!

you will be hard pressed to do better. we found this place via trip advisor and the guidance was right on. the place is busy and noisy. like a lot of mexican restaurants, it is nothing fancy. the place is off the beaten path in a mostly residential neighborhood. the food and service are outstanding. we had enchiladas and fajitas. they were among the best we have ever had. e bar is a victim of its own success. people come and wait for this food it is so good. the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. i do not see how you can do any better if you are looking for tex-mex. one of the things i liked was the ability to park your car. their parking lot is attended and your excellent experience starts the second you turn in off the street. don't be surprised to find one of the owners at the door welcoming guests and seeing to it that the service and food meet their very high standards. i would put this place on my must stop list for future visits.

great new place to check out!. great food, casual atmosphere and a nice place to hang out and have a good time with friends. bar has large screen tvs everywhere, servers are attentive and polite. beef and shrimp fajitas are very good and chips and salsa are endless, this is definitely a place to visit.

solid find. the food was solid, the drinks are cheap and the service is great. it has the usual pros and cons of a small restaurant- limited seating makes for a cozy atmosphere but the small kitchen also made for slow food.
it's set up like a pub- with a bar on one side and tables on the other side of a narrow, shotgun building. outside is a nice, large patio, with standing space heaters.

e-bar tex mex. having just flown in from nevada, we were looking for an authentic tex mex eatery and this establishment did not disappoint. the tilapia fish tacos are crisp and tasty without being fried. their specialty corn tacos are unique and flavorful. the atmosphere is casual and inviting. we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will return next time we visit dallas!
