they serve generous portions of classic pub-style food and pour plenty of beer. the burgers are great, but do order the amazing brisket caesar salad (we can't think of a caesar salad the same way again).

everything looks good but the wait was long and the management team was not courteous. food quality was okay, could be better. i liked the seating arrangement and a wide variety of options on the menu.

burger place.  that really just about covers it.  nothing notable.  reasonable burgers.  pub-like ambience.  just like a million other burger places.  fine if that's what you're looking for, but if you have a burger place nearer to you then there's no real reason to seek this place out.

the dutch goose never fails to please. i have eaten burgers, tri-tip sandwiches, pizza, and of course the delicious stuffed eggs here, and was always satisfied. great selection of beers on tap. inside and outside seating, pool table, family atmosphere. 2 fat thumbs up !

just keeps getting better. been a goose fan for a long time and the place just keeps getting better ... they keep adding interesting menu items, great place to watch a game, and the duck blind outback for cocktails under the stars...really fun for a local sleepy neighborhood. only problem -- the goose can get so busy that guests are greeted with the dreaded "40 minute wait for food" signs, alas...at least they tell you. go early and stay longer ;-)

hasn't changed in 30 years. a classic menlo park hangout. funky, loud, good cheap burgers, decent beer selection. i used to hang out here in high school and it hasn't changed a bit. go and have yourself some old-style fun!

a good sports bar with a pool table and an outdoor area. the food quality is mediocre but better than mcdonalds and company. it's a shame they prefer to cut corners,

a kitschy funky sports bar that has a wide selection of great food. burgers are large and juicy without being greasy, and with items from devilled eggs to brisket, there's bound to be something you'll like. supposedly a nice place for beers too, though i can't personally say if that's the case. great for lunch.

best burger in menlo park. bring your carving knife, so you can add your name to a table, wall, or bench. this is an old funky place, but the food and atmosphere is great.
